Here are some reasons to sell the CBC:

1- The $1.1 Billion+ per year could better be spent on Health care or other programs. It could also be used to pay down our debt. We've seen what debt can do in Greece. People are losing their jobs and other important services. That's what debt does. The CBC is adding to our debt problems. Besides, CBC pays huge amounts of money to its executives and wines and dines them around the world at our expense. Other Canadian TV stations don't have that kind of cash flow to waste away.

2- The CBC doesn't just show Canadian content anymore. They have many American programs like Jeopardy. So what's the point?

3- All Canadians now have access to Satellite TV. So Every Canadian can now get any other Canadian TV station they so choose. Therefore CBC has outlived its original mandate. A private owner of CBC would have to run the business like any other Canadian TV station. The only difference is that they may not be able to have the big parties, big salaries and too many employees at our expense anymore. So what's so unfair about that?

4- CBC is clearly biased content favoring the liberal-minded viewpoint.

I bought 30 ltr. of gas at $1.31 per ltr. the other day. The $40. 00 receipt showed the following:

Excise tax---- $3.06
Road tax------- $4.49
HST ------------- $4.60

Total tax-------- $12.15 which includes a tax on tax.

If they can't pay off the national debt and buy everyone a new car, in one year, with these kind of profits, they don't deserve to govern the next year. Even a stupid woman like Oprah manages to pay her debts and buy her voters a new car.

The End of Catholic Education.

Fr. Alphonse de Valk, editor of Catholic Insight magazine, says that an April 15th memo from the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario (ACBO) is effectively a “green light” to start gay clubs in the Catholic schools.

And he's right.

Catholic education has been heading downhill for years thanks to the ICE and Canadian Conference of Bishop's decision to bow to the province and start a sex education program that would please liberal minded provincial governments, school boards and unions but destroy a parents right to educate their own children about sex at the appropriate time.

Thanks to that bad decision we now have radical gays and lesbians demanding 'equality' in sex education and, once again, our school boards and Catholic Bishops have opened the door for bullying of our Catholic faith.

The bottom line is that it finally spells the end of Catholic education without even a fight from those we entrust to safeguard our children.

You can always tell when an institution or government ministry is making too much money. Actually, you don't have to guess because they all have their hands deep in the taxpayer's pockets.
You can also tell because you will rarely find any individuals willing to disagree with ' the program'. Programs like sex 'education' in the public and Catholic school system that has now expanded to include homosexuality indoctrination. You would think at least one person would care more about our next generation instead of their next fat paycheque.
But they're not alone. Included are parents who let them get away with it by ignoring their kids and what they're learning in school. Parents who trust our governments and institutions trust a fool.
The liberal-minded have been running our school boards for too long. It's long overdue to scrub school boards that only serve their provincial masters and give control of our schools back to the municipalities.

Smart Meters not too bright

Something interesting has happened.

Although not well publicised, a Supreme Court decision has exposed a weakness in McGuinty's Smart Meters.
Recently the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that Calgary police had the right to collect details of any customers electricity use to determine if they were growing marijuana. They don't need a search warrant any more.
However, as one of the dissenting judges said, "it is an incremental but ominous step toward the erosion of the right to privacy." They continued to say that a reasonable person wouldn't expect details of electronic use which can detect when a person goes to bed, does chores, etc. to be handed over to another party.
The police had used a 'digital recording ammeter' (DRA) to get a detailed printout of power consumption in a home.
As it turns out a DRA is a smart meter, which has been installed on millions of homes in McGuinty's Ontario.
The Ontario privacy commissioner warned that 'privacy is the smart grid's sleeper issue' because they can reveal a lot about a person's lifestyle, from the time they turn their lights on in the morning until they turn them off at night.

As much as we want to get rid of the handful of marijuana growers, is it worth this invasion of our privacy? More importantly, what was the real motivation of the liberal government by installing these expensive 'smart meters'?
We surely didn't need them and they are clearly another invasion of our privacy.

The Ontario McGuinty government put a recycling and environmental fee on most electronics, cleaning products and other merchandise this year. He temporarily dropped the recycling fee because of public pressure. Some businesses hide the fees in the product.
Our houses look like garbage dumps on the inside and animals tear apart our waste on the outside. We already pay for recycling, multi-million dollar dumps and garbage disposal. Why should we pay twice?? Plus tax!!

What went wrong?

Most of the western novels written before 1970 have no porn or swearing and the guy that had a high moral code always won the battles. Remember when TV was like that?
I was just reading a western about a cowboy who was walking through a lonely mining camp, operated mostly, by men. He described what he saw; " There were, of course, many dogs running loose in the camp and he supposed that the workers, womanless and without families, picked up a dog as a substitute for the affection of humans."
I don't know if it was me or because I had read so many sick emails about the way our society is today but I had to read that sentence again until the truth came to me. This was written at a time when homosexuality and bestiality were as foreign as women wearing men's clothing.
It's a testament against our times that if that same sentence were written in a book today, we would know they were talking about sex with dogs instead of the natural affection we all need in our lives which the author meant it to mean.
How far down we have come.

Equity Training for Ontario Catholic Boards: Homosexuality ‘Normal’, ‘Natural’

TORONTO, Ontario, June 29, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The majority of Ontario’s Catholic education establishment has backed the Ontario Ministry of Education’s equity and inclusive education strategy, even where it mandates “equity” based on sexual orientation, on the basis that the Catholic Church has always emphasized equity and inclusivity.

But as the Catholic boards prepare to implement their new “equity” policies this fall, it would appear that they are not only being trained to welcome homosexual people, but also to endorse homosexual behavior. As a LifeSiteNews analysis of the equity strategy published today explains, one of the key “equity” experts being brought into Catholic boards is actually teaching that equity involves accepting the homosexual lifestyle itself.

Chris D’Souza, former Equity and Diversity Officer of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board, travels the province promoting equity in schools, and has given over 1400 workshops on this topic in the last eight years. He leads the Equity Summit Group and served as a member of the ministry’s ad hoc committee for developing the equity strategy.

An educator for 17 years, he has given his presentations in over a dozen Catholic boards across the province.

In one such presentation, D’Souza defines “heterosexism” - which he says must be eliminated - as “the assumption that everyone is or should be heterosexual and that heterosexuality is the only normal, natural sexual orientation.” That presentation can be found on the Ottawa Catholic school board’s website.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church, on the other hand, calls homosexual inclinations “objectively disordered,” and calls those with such tendencies to chastity. Homosexual acts, the Catechism states further, are “acts of grave depravity,” and “under no circumstances can they be approved” (2357-2359).

In the same presentation, D’Souza urges teachers to stay on top of the most current “politically correct” language. “As Educators, You have a moral obligation to engage in politically correct and inclusive language in EVERY conversation you are a part of,” he insists. In this vein, he explains the acronym LGBTQQIAA, listing and defining the appropriate word for each form of homosexuality or homosexualism.

As part of the equity strategy, the ministry is requiring all boards, Catholic and public, to explicitly endorse the Ontario Human Rights Code and revise all board practices in accordance with it. Pro-family groups and individuals have objected, however, because the Code recognizes “sexual orientation” as a ground for non-discrimination, which they say will lead to the outright normalization of homosexual behavior.

Many are also concerned by the fact that in January a spokesperson for the ministry refused to state whether Catholic schools would continue to be able to teach the Catholic beliefs on homosexuality as laid out in the Catechism. This despite the fact that the new strategy was developed in conjunction with the Catholic constituency, including the Ontario bishops’ own Institute for Catholic Education.

Today's LSN analysis emphasizes that the homosexualist movement, which is agressively pushing the "equity" policies, “is not at all about tolerance and as the old adage puts it, to simply ‘live and let live.’” Instead, the movement is “intolerant, inequitable and un-inclusive. … It is an aggressive, radical propagandist machine … that is forcing its agenda into the sanctity of everyone’s home, into the youngest of children’s classrooms and now even into your Church, Synagogue and Mosque.”

Big Brother Makes His Move

We live in strange times with contrary leadership. Most of us pay our taxes, directly or indirectly, to our municipalities to maintain reasonable services so we can have the freedom to enjoy the privacy and protection of our property rights. Our military veterans fought and died to protect them. Some people want to take that away.
As if it wasn’t bad enough for the provincial liberals to invade our wallets continually with user fees, environmental fees and punishing taxes, now they want to allow strangers to invade our homes and some townships are actually helping them.
The township of Petawawa council is about to pass a bylaw that would allow municipal employees to enter our homes under the feeble excuse of “upholding employee’s right to do their job...” I’m sure most of the townships employees are honest and upright so this back-door bylaw complaint isn’t against them.
If you think this piece of legislation is going to be restricted to building and fire inspections you haven’t been paying attention to the direction of liberal politics these past years. Guess who’ll be coming next year to inspect your trees, water, pets and anything else they want to ‘regulate’
In Renfrew County we’ve been hammered continuously with business and property regulations by provincial dictators and this single piece of legislation, which opens the doors to all sorts of abuse, is another example of the tyrants of Toronto’s Queens Park liberal agenda. How any rural municipality could even consider it is very telling to which side of the tracks they stand. This isn’t about complying with provincial legislation. It’s about rolling over and playing dead instead of protecting our rural rights.
The municipal elections are coming up this October so it might be a good time now to find out, once and for all, where your own council plants its feet. Our municipalities need to stand together and send the message to Queens Park that This Land Is Our Land- Back Off Government.

The social conservative leaders who led the charge against Ontario's now-postponed overhaul of the province's sex-education curriculum were among many who had complaints about the explicit nature of some of the subject matter, and the young age of some of the children who would be taught it.

But the leaders went a lot further with their concerns, charging the reforms were part of a larger political agenda to make homosexuality more acceptable to society and to influence young children to "practise" homosexuality.

Charles McVety and Brian Rushfeldt, both representing conservative Christian groups, raised warnings this week about Ontario's new Health and Physical Education Curriculum for Grades 1-8, saying it would corrupt children and society. They were calling for a one-day boycott of students and a massive demonstration at Queen's Park.

But yesterday, Dalton Mc-Gunity, the Ontario Premier, said he was putting the plan on hold for further study.

The new plan, which would have come into effect in September, would have introduced discussions about gender identity and same-sex relationships in Grade 3, masturbation in Grade 6 and the dangers of oral, vaginal and anal sex in Grade 7, as well as descriptions of safe-sex practices.

Mr. McVety, president of Canada Christian College in Toronto, said the curriculum must be seen in the larger context of liberal social engineering. "It's not about this curriculum, it's about changing the culture in our schools, Mr. McVety said. "We warned the country about this when same-sex marriage came in. We changed the laws in this country, redefined marriage, the end result now this is coming into our classrooms.

"This is part of a militant homosexual agenda to normalize homosexuality in everyone's mind and thereby promote homosexuality. If we teach our children these things ... guess what? That's what they'll practice."

A number of religious groups -- from Catholics to evangelical Christians -- have also raised concerns about the new curriculum, though few have been as vocal as Mr. Mc-Vety and Mr. Rushfeldt in suggesting it would bring social corruption.

"This was an attempt to shape society and young minds," said Mr. Rushfeldt, of the Calgary-based Canada Family Action Coalition. "And to shift society away from the concept of male-female and husband-wife. They want to make society believe that two men and two women having sex is normal."

Mr. Rushfeldt and others also pointed out that introducing "gender identity" -- the idea that someone look like one sex on the outside but feel like the opposite sex -- would create confusion and anxiety in young children. But Mr. Rushfeldt believed there was an additional agenda of indoctrination.

"They're trying to ingrain in children a concept that society has never accepted before and that's why they're looking to children. Clearly they are trying to teach children so they can shape them at a young age."

However, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education said this week that the subject of gender identity was simply a way to help students understand the world around them.

"This is not a how-to," Michelle Despault said. "This is not teaching kids a way of being. This is teaching kids information they need to know for their health and well-being. So the expectation is to understand differences and what makes different people unique.

"Some of those differences in our society are around sexual orientation."

Questions about the teaching of homosexuality in classroomsareparticularly sensitive in Catholic schools, and there was controversy this week over whether they would have had to follow the new plan.

Mr. McGuinty said that Catholic schools in Ontario would have had to follow the new curriculum as written. However, the Ontario Association of Catholic Bishops stated that Catholic schools have the constitutional right to rewrite any policy that goes against Catholic teaching. That idea was also confirmed by a spokesman for the Ministry of Education earlier in the week.

Sister Joan Cronin, of the Institute for Catholic Education, which helps shape Catholic teaching across the province, said Catholic schools already have a teaching on homosexuality, which is taught in Grade 8.

The Catholic Catechism does teach that homosexual behaviour is "objectively disordered" but she said that concept is too complex to be introduced to students.

"What we say is that every person, gay or straight, is created in the image of God and deserves respect. But while the Church supports gay people it does not support homosexual acts or lifestyles."

She did not believe that the province had an agenda or ulterior motives for presenting the new curriculum.

"I have great regard for the educators at the Ministry of Education. I would say from their point of view they would have widely researched the topics and received vast research before they would design that program. The would have done it with the best research available."

The elderly lady was walking in the park when she sat down on the bench beside a man wearing an army uniform. His legs were twitching up and down continually so she asked him what had happened to him. He said his nerves were injured while serving in the army. She gave him her sympathy and walked on when she saw another man in an air force uniform and he was shaking his head back and forth while frothing at the mouth. She sat beside him and asked what had happened to him. He said that he got injured while serving in the air force. Finally she walked on and came upon a man in a navy uniform who was shaking his arm and hand vigorously. Right away she asked him, “Did you get that in the navy young man?” ‘No” he answered, “I got it in my nose and I can’t get the darn thing off my finger!”
That’s the way most rural people feel about the McGuinty liberals who keep getting elected by big cities, union employees, city journalists and special interest elitists. We just can’t seem to shake their dictating policies and taxes off of us.
Hydro just announced another rate increase. While we’ve all been paying for the huge hydro debt, McGuinty went shopping and borrowed another billion dollars to pay for his unneeded ‘Smart Meters’. He’s pouring our money into Green Energy which costs more to produce that it’s worth while he creates more useless, high paying, green jobs for his friends. With the beginning of his ‘Time-of-Use’ power prices and HST this summer, we will all be paying much more for our hydro and heating fuel. And it doesn’t stop there.
McGuinty’s liberals have added ‘environmental levees’ to many of our consumer items. Whenever you purchase any oil products, you pay a levy (plus tax) and you pay a $5.00 disposal levy (plus tax) when you get an oil change on your vehicle. If you can afford it, that big screen TV is going to have a $50.00 levy (plus tax) and eventually all our consumer items will have this green levy (plus tax). Lets not mention the continual user fees he adds for services.
This tax glut, at our expense, will set up the liberals for the next election when they can promise all the unions easy settlements and greeners all the money they want to invade rural people with more environmental and species at risk laws and fines.
Provincially and federally the liberals are finished in most rural areas mostly because they only speak to the cities and punish the rural. The wide gap between the well off and the poor here is displayed by who’s licking McGuinty’s pink slippers and who isn’t.
The challenge now is for the provincial conservatives to create fiscal and social policies that reflect real conservative values because right now there’s almost no difference between the red and blue. Better yet, create a new party like the Family Coalition Party with real family values.
The only environmental problem rural Ontario has is the green fog that hovers over Toronto politics and I can’t see anything changing until people get off their butts and demand a change from the people they hire in government.

Mandatory Curriculum for Ontario Schools Promotes Homosexuality, Masturbation

TORONTO, Ontario, March 1, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – As of next year, Grade 6 students in Ontario’s publicly-funded schools can expect to be taught that masturbation “is common and is not harmful and is one way of learning about your body,” according to a newly-revised curriculum document released by the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry put out its new Health and Physical Education curriculum for grades 1 to 8 in January, and a spokesperson has confirmed to LifeSiteNews (LSN) that the new curriculum will be mandatory for all schools, Catholic and public, in September 2010. The high school curriculum will be released this spring, and will be mandatory as of September 2011. At this point, it is unclear, however, whether Catholic schools are to be forced into teaching elements that violate Catholic teaching.
The new curriculum, replacing a previous version from 1998, aligns with the Ministry’s campaign to promote “equity and inclusive education” in Ontario’s schools, which includes the advancement of homosexualism and transgenderism. A notable aspect of the curriculum’s revision is the attempt to instil a sense that homosexuality and transgenderism are perfectly normal.
The document includes curriculum expectations, which teachers are required to address, accompanied by sample teacher prompts and student responses that are meant “to indicate the content and scope of intended learning.”
Students begin to explore “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” in grade 3, as part of an expectation to appreciate “invisible differences” in others. A desired response has the eight-year-old student recognizing that “some [families] have two mothers or two fathers.”
In grade 5, a student is expected to recognize that “things I cannot control include … personal characteristics such as … my gender identity [and] sexual orientation.”
In addition to learning about masturbation, a grade 6 student response suggests that students can better understand “sexual orientation” by “reading books that describe various types of families and relationships,” including those involving two “mothers” or “fathers.” The response adds the suggestion that students use the word “partner” rather than “husband” or “wife” to avoid the assumption that all couples are of opposite sexes.
In grades 7 and 8, “preventing pregnancy and disease,” “gender identity,” and “sexual orientation” become “key topics.”
Grade 7s are expected to be taught about “using condoms consistently if and when a person becomes sexually active.” A response from the twelve-year-old states that “People who think they will be having sex sometime soon should keep a condom with them so they will have it when they need it.” Another response has the student stating that one should avoid “anal intercourse without a condom” to prevent HIV/AIDS.
In grade 8, the use of contraception is a key component of the curriculum, and students are expected to “demonstrate an understanding of gender identity (e.g., male, female, two-spirited, transgendered, transsexual, intersex) and sexual orientation (e.g., heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual).” A grade 8 student response states it is important to have “all gender identities and sexual orientations portrayed positively in the media, in literature, and in materials we use at school.”
Patricia MacNeil, a spokesperson for the Ministry, told LSN that the new curriculum is indeed mandatory for all Ontario schools, including the Catholic ones. She said that there was “extensive consultation” on the revision beginning in September 2007, which included teachers, staff, and administrators from the Catholic school system. She also confirmed that the Ontario bishops’ education arm, the Institute for Catholic Education (ICE), was involved in the process.
“The curriculum was certainly revised with Catholic educators and students needs in mind,” she wrote in an e-mail.
She explained that the Ministry establishes curriculum policy, and then the school boards are responsible for implementation. Teachers determine their approach to addressing the curriculum expectations laid out by the Ministry.
“Teachers design their lesson plans and present material in a manner that is open and respectful of various view points,” she wrote, “and it is expected that teachers in the Catholic education system will present the material in a manner that affirms the values of Catholic education.”
She explained further that “the ministry is working with [the Ontario Physical and Health Education Association] and ICE to provide teachers with resources to support the teaching of sensitive and challenging topics, including sexual health, gender identity, sexual orientation, and mental health.”
Given MacNeil’s statement that the material may be presented “in a manner that affirms the values of Catholic education,” LSN followed up by asking yesterday whether that means that Catholic schools do not have to teach about contraception and other activities that violate Catholic values. LSN has not received a response as of press time.
The potential that this curriculum would be forced on Catholic schools is exacerbated in light of LSN’s previous investigations into the Ministry’s Equity and Inclusive Education Strategy. Under this strategy, the Ministry is requiring all boards, including the Catholic ones, to develop an equity policy that recognizes “sexual orientation” as a protected ground for non-discrimination, as well as committing to fighting “homophobia.”
When LSN spoke with MacNeil in January, she refused to answer, after repeated questioning, whether the Catholic Catechism’s teaching that homosexual inclinations are “objectively disordered” and homosexual acts are “acts of grave depravity” (2357-2359) would be able to be taught in Catholic schools under the equity strategy.
The Institute for Catholic Education, the Catholic school boards, and other Catholic stakeholders have signed off on the equity strategy, believing that it would not disturb the teaching of authentic Catholic doctrine in Catholic schools.
But the Vatican has warned that protecting people from discrimination based on “sexual orientation” opens the door to outright promotion of homosexuality, and this new Health and Physical Education curriculum may, in fact, bear that out.
In 1992, while under the leadership of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI), the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith condemned the recognition of “sexual orientation” as comparable to immutable characteristics such as race and ethnicity. The statement affirmed that homosexuals should be granted the same rights as everyone else, but also emphasized that there can be just “discrimination” based on “sexual orientation,” regarding adoption or military recruitment, for example.
“The passage from the recognition of homosexuality as a factor on which basis it is illegal to discriminate can easily lead, if not automatically, to the legislative protection and promotion of homosexuality,” the document stated.
The Institute for Catholic Education was unavailable for comment.

Lets get it right this time.

A local public high school was tossing out old books recently and I was able to salvage a 1925 Ontario Public School Health Book authorized by The Minister of Education. It was used in schools for several years as a guide for teachers and students for better health habits.
It expertly covered food, teeth care, digestion, circulation, exercise, respiration, fresh air, posture, bathing & cleanliness, clothing, eyesight, cheerfulness, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, germs, safety & first aid. It also had a section called 'Our link with the sea' which had nothing to do with evolution but was about salt and iodine intake to prevent goitre.
The book rightly never mentions sex, homosexuals or the diseases from loosely practicing them. It was assumed that if the students are following good mental and physical health practices, they won't have any abnormal sexual problems. It was also assumed that if a student did have a sexual problem they would take it up privately with their doctor instead of sharing it with the school. It was called discretion.
The book dealt with 'Brain Fag' which was simply an overworked, overtired brain. 'Communicable diseases' were ways to prevent cholera and diphtheria. The section on 'Dick Test' was about a test for scarlet fever and had nothing to do with Dick.
When they discussed 'diaphragms' it was about the floor of the chest cavity not a birth control method. And finally
'Waste Products' was not about recycling but rather the elimination of our bowels and preventing constipation.
They had something, back in 1925, that we don't have today; Common Good and Common Sense. They treated boys and girls equally in health matters. School boards knew their place was not in the indoctrination of other people's children. It was only when they started discussing sex in schools that children became over-interested and premiscuality and pregnancies mushroomed. Oh sure, there was always a small amount of girls getting pregnant but nothing like today's mess.
We can't bring back common decency overnight but we can and should get rid of the people who are pushing sex education programs that promote deviant lifestyles under the guise of condoms, equality and inclusiveness.
The only way to do that is to vote in politicians and school trustees who share your values. It's easy, just ask them.

Some nuns, faithful to the Holy See and to the founding traditions of their own religious communities, are anxious to help.

Ann Carey, author of Sisters in Crisis: The Tragic Unraveling of Women’s Religious Communities, has set up a Yahoo Group that allows loyal Catholic nuns to contact each other, exchange news about their orders, and provide information to the Vatican—all while preserving their own anonymity.

Why, you might ask, would the good sisters want to remain anonymous? Because they live in communities dominated by radical feminism, and they fear reprisals if they dare to speak out in defense of Catholic tradition. That’s a measure of how thoroughly many religious orders have been corrupted by the spirit of the age. It’s also an indication of how urgent it is to provide some guidance for these communities—and, not incidentally, some support for the poor nuns (in most cases elderly) who are living through the chaos.

Ontario Gov't Initiative Would Force Catholic Schools to Violate Church Teaching

TORONTO, Ontario, January 7, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Ontario Ministry of Education has mandated that every school board in Ontario, Catholic and public, implement a new equity and inclusiveness policy by September 2010.

While the new initiative was devised with participation from the curriculum arm of the Ontario Bishops' Assembly, it nevertheless would force Ontario's Catholic school boards to recognize “sexual orientation” as a ground protected from discrimination. The Vatican has warned, however, that such a recognition is usually part and parcel with the outright promotion of homosexuality. One prominent Catholic commentator and priest has said that this is indeed the Ministry's aim.

The Ministry's new initiative, called the Equity and Inclusive Education Strategy, requires school boards to address areas such as religious accommodation and the prevention of discrimination, which includes combating “homophobia.”

The Ministry is allowing school boards latitude in adapting their equity policy to account for “local needs and circumstances,” and it is not clear to what extent school boards will be pressured to accept homosexuality at this point.

But the Ministry is requiring all boards, including those that are Catholic, to profess a commitment to uphold the Ontario Human Rights Code. “School board policies must be comprehensive and must cover the prohibited grounds of discrimination set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code,” reads the Policy/Program Memorandum.

The problem is that the Code recognizes “sexual orientation” as a prohibited ground for discrimination, and the Ministry is insisting that boards recognize and account for this aspect of the Code as well. But for Catholic school boards, recognizing “sexual orientation” in this way would mean standing in opposition to the Vatican.

When under the leadership of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) issued a document entitled 'Some Considerations Concerning the Response to Legislative Proposals on the Non-Discrimination of Homosexual Persons.'

The CDF asserted that “'Sexual orientation' does not constitute a quality comparable to race, ethnic background, etc. in respect to non-discrimination. Unlike these, homosexual orientation is an objective disorder and evokes moral concern.”

The CDF insisted that homosexuals share the same rights as everyone else, including the right to respect based on their intrinsic dignity as persons. But they also warned that legally enshrining “sexual orientation” in this way “can easily lead to regarding homosexuality as a positive source of human rights,” even though “there is no right to homosexuality.”

Recognizing homosexuality as a prohibited ground for discrimination, they said further, “can easily lead, if not automatically, to the legislative protection and promotion of homosexuality.”

According to Fr. Alphonse de Valk, the editor of Canada’s Catholic Insight magazine, Ontario Education Minister Kathleen Wynne “is going headlong against the teaching of the Church” by forcing Catholic schools to recognize sexual orientation.

“The minister herself is a lesbian, so we have the person at the top using her position to promote her own views on the grounds of giving [homosexuality] a disguise of it being a human right, but in fact it's not a human right at all,” he continued. “The legal independence of the Catholic school system, of course, is very well constitutionally founded, so the Minister will have a difficult task, legally speaking, of imposing that on the Catholic schools.”

“I assume that the bishops will put up a vigorous fight and reject it as contrary to the interests of the Catholic community,” he said.

Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, who appointed Wynne, is a Catholic and has consistently acted against Catholic moral principles without any significant public rebuke or consequence from any of the province's bishops.

Canadian MP Launches Petition to Stop Federal Funding of Planned Parenthood

OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews.com) - "We, the undersigned residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to stop all funding of International Planned Parenthood Federation," reads a new petition being circulated by Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) Brad Trost (Saskatoon-Humboldt). The petition refers specifically to a 2006 pledge from the Canadian federal government to allocate $18 million over four years to International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). CIDA is overseen by International Cooperation Minister Bev Oda (C-Durham), who took the position in 2007. The goal, says Trost, is to stop the IPPF funding when it comes up for renewal, which he says is supposed to happen around December 31st.

He has circulated a similar petition "on a low-key level" by word-of-mouth since the March for Life in May, but has redrafted it and posted it to his website. He has already presented these petitions in the House of Commons a few times, but is now stepping up his efforts. He raised the issue informally, he says, as have others, but "got a brush off." "I then started ... to roll this out so that people would realize and understand that the federal government ... funds Planned Parenthood International," he told LifeSiteNews.com, "and I find that disturbing and would like to have the money rerouted to something else."

IPPF is the world's largest abortion provider and, as they themselves admit, promotes international abortion 'rights' as one of their central focuses.

In addition to IPPF's abortion advocacy, the petition cites the fact that the organization "does not support physicians' freedom to practice according to their conscience and/or religious beliefs regarding abortion referral." According to IPPF's 'Charter on Sexual and Reproductive Rights', physicians may only refuse to offer contraceptive and abortion 'services' "if they can refer the client to health professionals willing to provide the service immediately" (5.3). "No such right exists in emergency cases where lives are at risk," they add.

IPPF took in $119 million in 2008, with almost 80% coming from government grants. In the midst of a financial crisis, $23 million of that money went towards staffing, with over 3 dozen people given six figure incomes that topped out at $480,000. CIDA would seem to have become a dedicated supporter of organizations that advocate de-population and actively work towards global abortion access, giving away millions of Canadian tax money. In 2007, for example, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation reported that, in addition to the money pledged to IPPF, in 2006/2007 CIDA had given $44,050,000 to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as well as $18 million to UNICEF. While UNFPA claims that they do not promote abortion, they are an ardent supporter of abortion advocacy groups, such as IPPF, which reported in 2008 that it had received $1 million from the fund that year. In September, the UNFPA's leader, Thoraya Ahmed Obaid, called for a budget of $23 billion to be able to fund abortions worldwide.

In Trost's opinion, the government has continued funding IPPF because of "inertia." "The bureaucracy's done it before and no one wants to rock the boat," he explained. "So at the end of the day, don't make any waves. ... I'm encouraging people to let their voice be spoken so that the unelected government, i.e. the bureaucrats in CIDA who support Planned Parenthood, don't get to dictate where people's tax dollars go." He is encouraging people to write the Prime Minister and CIDA's Minister, Bev Oda. He would like those who write "not only to oppose it because abortion is wrong, period, but also because there's other better ways to spend ... Canadian international development aid money." "Write or encourage the Minister and CIDA to spend money on other things - vaccination programs, well-water programs," he said. "There's other much better things this could be spent on."

Get Over It!

It’s that time of the year again when we’re reminded how our governments joyfully waste our money on their biased political agendas. That reminder comes trotting down our streets in the annual ‘Take Back the Night’ march that radical feminists organize so that we men don’t forget how bad we are. Count me out.
The international event is supposed to have originated in the last century, in Germany, to protest an undisclosed number of rapes and violence against women. Thankfully men are not allowed to walk in the march but they can have the ‘privilege’ of lining the routes in solidarity. No kidding!
For 35 years our federal governments have doled out hundreds of millions of our tax dollars for the Status of Women feminist only clubs on the false notion that women are victims of our society. True some women are badly abused but so are men and the vast majority of women and men are perfectly able and capable of making decisions about their lives. Historically, genocides have targeted men and none before or after the Montreal Massacre in the west, have singled out women. It’s no secret that men are reluctant to report violence against themselves, however, according to a 2006 Statistics Canada report 546,000 men did report physical violence from their partners over the previous 5 years which was only 1% less than women.
Modern liberal feminists hypocritically embrace the idea of child murderers and in fact continually revere their hero, mass murderer, Henry Morgentaler yet for all those years’ pro-life organizations, men’s groups, Real Women and millions of volunteers have never received one government dime to support their good causes. You can be darn sure the money-hungry feminists would shut their doors and walk away tomorrow if the government money dried up.
With huge deficits, it’s time for our provincial and federal governments to get out of the last century and stop using our tax dollars to prop up radicals using men as their scapegoat to pad their pockets. It’s long overdue for an independent audit and research into feminist organizations funding including women’s shelters and time for special interest organizations, who believe in their causes, to volunteer their time and money just like the rest of society.
With an overabundance of laws to protect women, policing to enforce them and biased courts that favor women, we’re just wasting our tax dollars propping up a sexist industry.
But thanks for the annual reminder.

I/We Insist that a full Parliamentary Inquiry be held into the Status of Women Canada and its wrongful influence on Legislation, Policy, and the administration of justice in Canada over the duration of its existence. This Inquiry must have the mandate to recommend changes to policy and legislation that it finds to be in error.

Judge Nathan J. Smith, in his BC Supreme Court judgment, said that a Policy Research Report of the Canadian federal government (Status of Women Canada):

· makes claims that are not true.

· is not factual.

· is the ideological opinion of “true believers” and self-described “militant feminists”.

· is slanderous (Defamatory).

Therefore:

Parliament has been misled by at least one Status of Women Canada Research Report.

Furthermore:

· There are other examples legislation and policy that have been influenced by SWC policy research, but we do not know the full extent to which Parliament has been misled and the people of Canada harmed.

· This Report published by Status of Women Canada was judged to be the best policy research of the year 2003. It can reasonably be inferred that the remainder of similar research is of the same (or worse) character.

· Government funding and support of the legal defense of Status of Women Canada has created a perception that there is unjustified discrimination and inequality under the law within the Canadian court system.

As a result of all this:

Ø I/We insist upon a full Parliamentary Inquiry to gauge the full extent of this problem and make reasonable and fair recommendations to repair the errors.

EGANVILLE, Ontario, August 10, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Despite a 33-signature petition begun by homosexual groups, the North Algona Wilberforce Township Council appointed pro-family advocate Ken O'Day to the Board of the Bonnechere Union Public Library last Wednesday.

O'Day chose to apply for the Board position because he has been upset with the library's offerings, including most notably a pornographic movie. "If nobody is going to take a leadership role, then somebody has to," he told LifeSiteNews.com in July.

The library has replaced many of its older books, he told LSN today, and "the new books are very liberal, abundantly feminist and pro-Gore in environmentalism," he said. They are "very one-sided."

At the interview with the Council for the position, O'Day said, "I told them...that...if they wanted everything to run smooth..., without any complaints or any changes, then she [the other applicant] was certainly the one to get, but I said, if you take me, you're going to have disagreement and some accountability. Even in spite of that, they took me."

In his advocacy at the library, O'Day is not trying to limit the content of books, he says, but quite the opposite. "They think I want to restrict the books, but what I want to do is expand it to getting more alternate viewpoints," he told LSN.

He expects his cause will be difficult, pointing out that five of the seven Board members are from another Council supporting the library, who are "very liberal." Nevertheless, he says he will do his research at the library to prove his point, and will make sure his voice is heard.

Gay community opposes applicant for library board

Eganville -- Despite receiving a petition from the gay and lesbian community of Renfrew County and their supporters opposing one of the applicants seeking to fi ll a vacancy on the Bonnechere Union Public Library board, North Algona Wilberforce Township council will interview the two township residents seeking the volunteer position.

The 33 people who signed the petition say they are very concerned about the potential membership of Ken O'Day on the board because of his views towards gays and lesbians. "For several years, Mr. O'Day has condemned gay and lesbian people in the areas of social acceptance, legal rights and education," the petition reads. "We recognize that members of the board have the right to their own beliefs, but Mr. O'Day has publicly stated that his personal agenda is to condemn members of the gay and lesbian community."

The petition asked for support of individuals to oppose the appointment of Mr. O'Day to the board where he may use his infl uence to accomplish personal goals. NAW is represented on the library board by Councillor John Kuehl and two ratepayers. Tom McCann recently resigned from the board after a brief stint due to time constraints, creating the vacancy. Susan Taylor is the other township representative on the seven-member board. Prior to the township advertising for applications, township resident Kathryn Kasaboski applied to fi ll the position.

Mr. O'Day was the only person to apply following the publication of an ad. Mayor Harold Weckworth said he was unaware Mr. O'Day had applied for the position until last Monday night's township council meeting and he wondered how the library board was aware of the applicants and how the petition got started. "I still don't understand how the library board found out because on the ad in the paper it asked that all applications be directed to the township," he said. "I don't know how that happened." Mayor Weckworth only became aware of Mr. O'Day's application and the petition when he picked up his agenda a few days prior to last Monday night's meeting. "How did the (library) board know about it?"

Councillor John Kuehl, who was appointed to the library board several months ago to replace Councillor Ruth Schoenfeldt, said the board also received the applications. "Council was under the impression that they were supposed to send them (applications) to the library board and the board picked the member," he said. "That's what our council originally said. That was what I was under the impression of." Coun. Kuehl said when Mr. O'Day applied for the position, one copy of his application went to the library board and one to the township.

The library board meetings are open to the public and it was after Mr. O'Day made his intentions of seeking the position known to the board that the petition was started. Coun. Kuehl said he was under the impression when he was first appointed to the board that the board conducted the interviews and made recommendations to council for board members. "But it's not that way at all," he explained. "The board clarified that and said they would do it if we wanted them to, but really it's up to each council to pick their people. "That's when I went back to my council, because I had only been at a couple of meetings, and said we have the say here. I brought everything from there back to our township. "It was just a misunderstanding. I have only sat on the committee for not that long."

He applied for the position because there was a vacancy, adding he has done volunteer work all of his life. "This is just another area where our council needs our help," he said. The recent leadership race in the provincial conservative party confirmed the narrow vision and glad-happy ideas of our ‘Progressive’ Conservatives who seem only too willing to follow the same path they took us on during Ernie Eves reign of red.
Unhindered by any higher moral and ethical scruples, newly elected conservative leader Tim Hudak, used the same socially liberal election team that are hostile to social/fiscal conservatives. Hudak is too young, too inexperienced and too close to his friends in Toronto to give a darn about rural Ontario. He will continue with the same big government spending, pleasing big public sector unions and over-regulating us as our previous conservative/liberal/NDP leaders did.
Delegate thinking, during the leadership race, was to support the candidate who has the best chance of winning in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). It doesn’t matter if he may have the intellect of a frozen horse turd, (think Dalton McGuinty), he just needs the ability to dance with the public sector unions, wave the rainbow/environmental flag and toss a few crumbs to rural folks. We’ve seen it all over and over again. Look what happened to our federal Canadian Alliance Party policies after the red Tory invasion.
For anyone who paid attention, Randy Hillier was the only candidate who spoke about true conservative values, the only one to call for a return to what real conservative policies should be instead of the liberal-lite, soft middle ground that leaves voters confused and leaving the party. Even our MPP, John Yakabuski turned his back on rural candidate Randy Hillier to vote for Tim Hudak. It won’t soon be forgotten.
So where does all this leave us who want real conservative social and fiscal values along with smaller government? Who do we turn to when the liberals, conservatives and NDP all march in the same parade? Provincially we need a person and party with real rural values who will go to Queens Park and demand change without kowtowing to anyone. We don’t need a party that’s based in Toronto to suit only big city desires.
It's time for a change and the Family Coalition Party looks better every day.
As we saw about 10 years ago when we dumped 70 years of liberal rule, Renfrew County is willing to change it’s voting pattern so a new party has a credible chance if they don’t make the mistake of inviting any red Tories.

While the guilty verdict of the HIV/AIDS infected Johnson Aziga makes headlines around the world, Hamiltonians should consider that other parties may very well become complicit in the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus and the resulting infection and death of sexual partners.

Unbeknownst to many Hamiltonians, the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board continues to move ahead aggressively with their sexual orientation "equity" policy which will require the inclusion and encourage the celebration of numerous sexual behaviour choices in all subject areas while offering little or no medical evidence of the specific associated health risks.

In fact, the board has rejected requests from concerned parents to include official Ministry of Health information which establishes that those who practice MSM (males who have sex with males) have HIV rates as high as 25 per cent or one in four men (Region of Toronto).

This rate is 250 times higher than males from non-endemic countries who contact HIV via heterosexual contact.

Given the above, should school boards not be held accountable for their indoctrinative approach to normalizing high-risk behaviour and what penalty should they face?

What's a 'person' to do?

A friend of mine told me today that I was a nice person. I told her that she has insulted me. Startled, she asked me how she had done that.
First of all, I told her that I was a man, not a person and when she refers to me with a non-descript word like 'person', she doesn't respect my manhood plus she is feeding the feminist/gay movement. How?
For the past 20 years or so certain people have been trying to remove our genders male and female to make us all 'inclusive' or one. The media, reporters and our own governments have changed our language to please these radicals until we find ourselves using the word 'person' all the time instead of the gender.
We are at the point where we are almost ashamed to use man or woman. Ask yourself when was the last time you used the words? Try it out by just saying out loud "I am a good man/woman". Say it to someone else. What do you feel after you say it. If it's a little guilt then you can be sure you have been brainwashed by those people who want to remove any pride or identity in your sex and that is exactly what the fem/gay movement is all about.
Your intellect tells you there's nothing wrong with the non-gender word but your 'self' is insulted.
The only way to stop this insult to your sex is to bring it to a conscious level in others and gently correct them when they call someone a person instead of the gender God gave them.
Be a man. Be a woman. Be a husband or a wife but don't let them call you person or spouse.

Further-

In truth, the English word 'person' does not belong in the bible. In scripture, the Greek and Hebrew words that 'person' is translated from mean "to reveal the man" (i.e., presence, countenance, face, etc.), whereas in man's law, the word 'person' means "to conceal the man" (i.e., the term persona means "the mask of the actor", i.e., a fictional character that substitutes for the flesh and blood man. From this word persona we get 'person,' a fictional entity). You're the actor when you become a person, because a mask (the person) covers the true character, and you become something other than who God says you are.

In addition, it can be seen that 'person' and 'man' are not synonymous by the phrase "artificial person." In man's law, this phrase is used to describe corporations and such. But, if we replace the word 'person' with 'man,' look at what we get! "Artificial man." What is an artificial man? Is it a cyborg, a half-man/half-machine or something? However, "artificial person" makes much more sense, because a person is created by man, whereas a man is created by God. God does not create artificial things, only man does.

[As a side note, we are told that a 'noun' refers to a "person, place, or thing." Well, a 'person' is not a noun, because it is only a fiction; it does not exist; it hides the true man. However a man (or woman) is a noun. Therefore, it is more accurate to say a noun refers to "people, places, or things."]

Furthermore, if they call you a 'nice' 'person', they are doubly insulting you. Read this:

1) The only words which have substance are nouns. Nouns have substance, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, etc., do not. Verbs are not substantial, they only indicate action. The substance is in the noun. For example, the word party was previously only a noun, but now it's a verb, now it's an act. Instead of saying, "let's go to a party", we say, "let's party". We see how the English language, through its evolution, changes the substance of a word into nothing. By keeping nouns as nouns, they represent the "truth". By converting nouns to verbs, they do not represent the truth, and therefore the language becomes "fictitious".

2) The way a word is spelled determines its meaning, and what law one is under. There are at least three ways to spell any one word. Let's take, as an example, the spellings of "rich," "Rich," and "RICH." The first spelling, "rich," means "wealthy." This word is an adjective and has no substance; it merely describes the person of man, but not the man himself. The spelling "Rich," on the other hand, has a completely different meaning. It is a proper name, and refers to the man himself. This word has substance. By spelling this word lawfully, it brings you under the Law that created it. Since God created man, this would bring you under God's Law. And the last spelling, "RICH," has a completely different meaning than the previous two spellings. You won't find any words spelled in all capital letters in the dictionary, because these words do not exist. They are fictions. And by spelling a name in all caps, it brings you under the law that created it; which would be the fictitious laws of man. This is why all corporations are spelled in all capital letters, because they are fictions created by man, and not substance created by God.

3) We cannot take an unclean word and make it clean. For example, let's take the word 'nice,' which is derived from the Latin 'nescire.'

Feminist Public School System is a Toxic Environment

I've been a supply teacher for 20 years in every subject area, K-12 in over 200 schools and in over 1000 classrooms in a large Canadian city. I can report that the education system has been taken over by feminists and lesbians who preach a daily diet of hate, violence and discrimination against males despite pretenses of “tolerance” “non violence” and “inclusiveness.”

It's moderately common to find girls wearing anti-male, hate clothing. Slogans on T-Shirts include: “Stupid Factory:Where Boys are Made;” “BOYS ARE STUPID, THROW ROCKS AT THEM!” and (prefixed by the profile view of a handgun) “He had it comin'”

Others include “WHO NEEDS BOYS WHEN YOU HAVE CREDIT CARDS?” and “I LIKE BOYS WHO ARE SENSITIVE AND CRY, WHEN I HIT THEM;” and “MENtal Anxiety MENtal Breakdown MENstrual Cramps MENopause Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with MEN.”

Can you imagine if these comments were addressed at girls?

I've been in staff rooms where I have read pamphlets issued by the Canadian Federation of Teachers about Afghanistan. Exclusive concern was shown for women, girls and female babies and none for males despite the fact that boys had the double-whammy-plus of being forced to carry a gun, kill and be killed, traumatize and be traumatized, starting as early as eight-years-of-age. They had been denied schooling and been traumatized for life. The girls only had been denied schooling.

I've been in classrooms where videos were shown blaming all date violence on males. No sexual violence female-to-male was mentioned and women were referred to as "men's property." Once the video had been shown, the girls overflowed with anti-male hate statements and the boys were afraid to speak on any matter. I told students that the video's depiction was false but they insisted that the video depiction was the absolute truth. Such indoctrination is the norm in schools.

In the context of the omni-present, "Women's History Month" posters in the school, I have been in homerooms in which the boys are so abused by their feminist teachers that they cannot even whimper, even after serial attempts to get them to say anything at all. In one classroom in which Grade-12 students were nearing their graduation, I had a boy cry about the climate of ever-climaxing anti-male hate.

EMPLOYMENT

As a male, I am routinely discriminated against for employment with no recourse to authorities.

In supply teaching, patterns emerge such as gender-cleansing in the early years (Men need not apply.) The substitute clerks want women, and when they can't get them (a rarity), a man can get called at the last minute (late calls generally translate as, "I-couldn't-get-a-woman call").

In my experience, all substitute clerks are women. In the last two decades, phone/computer machines have been put into place in various districts. As a result, when IT phones instead of SHE, the early years open up to men, initially. The resultant realization that the conventional gender-cleansing is not in place results in male supply teachers being "greeted" by school secretaries (always women) who ask the man reporting to the office in the morning, "What are YOU doing here?" "I'm here for____(a woman teacher)."

In response to that, the secretary reports the man to the principal who tries to gender-cleanse by saying to the male supply teacher, "I can give you Grade 5." "No, thanks, I'll take the Kindergartens." I've even had to discuss such matters for two minutes with some principals.

In the hundreds and hundreds of applications I have put into for teaching jobs, I have never had a response to any application for Grade 2, Grade 1 nor Kindergarten; and I've only had one interview for a position in Grade 3--which was assigned to a woman.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Here are some of my experiences as an Education student.

First of all, to be in teaching is to be immersed in femininity. Wall-to-wall women, everywhere; the students, the teaching staff, the curriculum, the posters on walls, the celebrations, the laments, the teacher unions, the student unions, the union unions. In perfect lock-step, all are one, and half of humanity counts for nothing, except to be harmed, of course.

In one class, the professor had issued a 4-page photocopy to all students (26 women and 3 men in the room). The article was composed entirely of assertions. There was a perfect void of evidence. The essence of the article was that men, most especially white men were all advantaged and that women were all disadvantaged.

The monomania was so advanced that one black woman complained that whereas there was affirmative action for women, including black women, it was mostly Caribbean black women who got the jobs and not the African black women. The women in the room gushed with sympathy that such a situation could persist in Canada. Various women-as-victim and men-as-victimizer as the universally advantaged had serialized. I waited for an almost void in the lament and had declared various facts.

I pointed out that in Canada's armed services, over 116 000 men and boys and only 30 women and no girls had been killed in service and that the response of governments in Canada and elsewhere the world over had been one of, "Advance women."

I pointed out that in the civilian work world, up to 2005, just over 96% of job-caused deaths were male and that as of 2006, with the boom in the economy, for the first time, just over 1000 men and only approximately 20 women were killed.

The women who spoke (about 12 of them), utterly whaled against me in seething frenzied hate. It was like being in a Nazi Party meeting. I was shouted-down. In fact, the women who insisted that the proper world order was save-the-women/kill-the-men, complained vociferously to the knights in shining armor (the few men who were allowed into the teaching faculty.)

These professor men called me at home on a Sunday to set up a meeting to censor me for raising gender issues!. They didn't complain about what the women were doing.

The one male professor encouraged me to get out of teaching by way of using the university employment service (a feminist organization.)

I told them that in every case, I was responding to the women who had raised the issues in the first place and that they had to back off. The head professor said he would speak with the professors. But, following that meeting, my classroom curricula had included one article about suicide which mentioned that female depression was 50% higher than male depression, but did not mention that male suicide was 400% higher than female suicide.

Another professor issued learning-outcome statements to the class which counselled us to include examples of women (and not examples of men).

OTHER HARASSMENT

Previous to that event, we teacher-students were shown a video of two teachers in team teaching. The woman teacher in the video had the line assigned to her, "I hope I'm treated as an equal (by the man teacher)" and the man teacher was assigned the line, "I'll have to guard against my male ego."

The same female professor who had presented that video had chosen a text book which included curricular topics for lesson plans. The topics included, "Violence against Women" (and, of course, no concern for "Violence against Men").

During one presentation, a mother of a disabled daughter told how some, "ardent Feminist" women had taken her daughter to a male strip joint. Such was described by the mother as, "wonderful." Following that, the same "ardent Feminist" woman had taken her daughter to the USA to attend a Feminist, "woman's music camp" and we were shown a slide of those women, many of whom were topless. Evidently lesbianism is encouraged.

"So, why didn't you complain to officials of the university or elsewhere?" My answer is as follows: The student union had a handbook which blamed all date violence on men and its front office window had three prominently displayed posters about date violence which blamed into all on men. Also, annually, the union had taken part in the Marc Lepine remembrance day ceremonies at the university...which blamed everything on men. As for the university, it had Women's Studies and no Men's Studies, and a , "Womyn's Center" and no Men's Center. The, poster, "greeting" men to the "Womyn's Centre" reads:

The Coming Anti-Life Onslaught: Obama's Abortion Agenda at Home and Abroad

January 15, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - President-elect Barack Obama’s Web site, change.gov, contains a link titled, “Open Government: Your Seat at the Table.” Follow this link and you will find hundreds of papers submitted to the Obama-Biden Transition Project by various interest groups.

One other such paper, entitled, “Advancing Reproductive Rights and Health in a New Administration: The First 100 Days,” is endorsed by over 50 pro-choice organizations ranging from the ACLU to one called Women Thrive Worldwide. Most of the demands contained in the paper are disturbing though not surprising: a massive increase in funding to Title X (which funds Planned Parenthood), an end to abstinence-only education, assuring that anyone, anywhere can have an abortion at taxpayers’ expense, passing the ironically-named Freedom of Choice Act, and making sure that only pro-choice ideologues are appointed to the federal judiciary, and so on.

The international ambitions of this anti-life coalition, however, are the most fearsome aspect of their agenda and US taxpayer funding is the new plum to be plucked. In post-Roe America, it is hard to find ways to make abortion more ubiquitous than it already is, but significant sectors of the developing world still maintain firm prohibitions against the destruction of innocent life, and these groups want to change all that. What they are advocating may be “change that America can live with,” but it certainly isn’t change that the developing world can live with.

In addition to the expected demand for a reversal of President Bush’s “Mexico City Policy” (the executive order first enacted by Ronald Reagan) which restricts funding for international organizations that promote abortion, these groups are calling for the investment of one billion dollars in the promotion of abortion and contraception around the world. This call includes the restoration of funding to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), that radical abortion-promoting arm of the UN which has supported and funded coercive abortion in China. They want to nearly double the US contribution to the UNFPA to the tune of $65 million in order to continue this malfeasance and other like works. Monies going to the organizations formerly blocked from funding by the Mexico City Policy could represent as much as a 10-fold increase in funding for contraception and abortion worldwide.

We can’t underestimate the potential negative impact of this funding on inherently life-affirming cultures. In a recent interview in Rome, Dr. Stephen Karanja, head of the Catholic Doctors’ Association of the country where Barack Obama’s father was born, had this to say about the coming US war on babies in the developing world: “We in Kenya know [Obama] as a person who is anti-family. A person who supports abortion .. This is something that a lot of people don't realize, that what these Americans do affects innocent people thousands and thousands of miles away. The truth is that they have put a bad man in the most powerful office in the whole world and are putting people outside your borders in danger.” It is rare to find someone so clear-sighted about Obama in the countries that are presently fawning over this “historic” presidency. Dr. Karanja sees the oncoming onslaught of American-led propaganda against his people, a full 90% of whom consider abortion to be an “abomination” (his wording).

As president of an international pro-life organization, I travel to countries all over the developing world and meet those who have been harmed by the United States’ most destructive export: our twisted “pro-choice” ideology which is deceptively re-packaged and re-named “reproductive healthcare” for propagandizing the decision-makers of the poorer countries. In our official support of “reproductive healthcare,” we, as Americans, communicate to the world that we think their economic and social problems would be solved if only there were fewer of them that had problems. This attitude is nothing more than the classic elitist mind-set of blaming the poor for their poverty and trying to eliminate poverty by eliminating poor people. And now we are dangerously close to putting billions of dollars behind that attitude.

If the Obama administration gives in to the demands of the anti-life coalition in its first 100 days, as we have every reason to believe he will, I fear there will be no undoing the damage we will be forcing on the developing world. It seems that often we have more to learn from the people of the developing countries of the world than they do from us. Dr. Karanja’s final word is true not only of Kenya but of all nations: “The only resource we have that is truly ours, is our people. Don’t attack them and we’ll be alright.” He added, ominously, “And this administration of Obama, is going to be a nightmare for our people.”

We owe it to our brothers and sisters in these countries to let President-elect Obama know that the “places at the table” should not be taken by those who think that the world would be better off without them.

Time and again our provincial governments are conspiring with our well padded school boards and teachers unions to bypass the parental rights of our children.
Currently in Ontario there is no specific age for which a person is considered too young to receive 'medical treatment'. It is up to the doctor's discretion to determine if the person is mature enough to understand the implications of the medical treatment; abortion, pills or otherwise.

This law came into effect back in the 80's under a committee principally driven by Planned Parenthood. It was a means of secretly getting to our children and pushing their sexual freedom agenda which ultimately leads to a perceived need for sexual health clinics. Create a void that can never be filled then apply for tax dollars to fill it.

The last place parents want to place their children today is in any publically-funded school or institution, especially if the parents have any moral standards. They simply don't have enough sense to stick to the mandate they were originally given by parents and taxpayers. Indeed, they've become propaganda tools to indoctrinate our young minds with their own personal agendas.

Is it any wonder provincial governments don't support private or home schooling?

November was Domestic Violence Awareness month. Truth in advertising suggests it should be Y-Chromosome Apartheid Month. Far from promoting "awareness" of a social problem or remedies for men and women with anger issues, the month is basically a radical feminist war dance around the Original Sin of maleness, cheered on by "progressive" media sympathizers.

The annual verbal pogrom will find its apotheosis in to-day's 19th observance of the Montreal Massacre anniversary, our domestic violence industry's shrine to feminism's Big Lie of male unilateralism in domestic violence.

It's awkward that the Dec. 6, 1989 massacre of 14 women at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal -- unlike ritual wartime massacres of men and boys, such as the 8,000-death horror of Srebrenica -- remains a freak one-off in the West, perpetrated by a lone sociopath, with neither prequel nor sequel to suggest a pattern. But emotion, not reason or facts, drives the Domestic Violence industry.

The truth is that the more precisely identified phenomenon of "intimate partner violence" (IPV) in Western culture is gender neutral, an acting out of psychological problems around intimacy that afflict men and women alike. IPV is initiated by both sexes in about equal proportions. Self-defence is rarely the motive for women's violence against men. Literally hundreds of peer-reviewed, community-based studies, including StatsCan's, confirm this. But they don't reach the public. (Under pressure from feminist organizations, for example, a Quebec health agency recently sequestered a commissioned psychosocial study showing men and women are equally culpable for IPV.)

But most damaging is the suppressed fact that even bilateral IPV in general is a relative rarity in our culture. A woman is more likely to be struck by lightning than killed by her spouse. IPV simply isn't the systemic epidemic that hysteria-mongering feminist organizations so shamelessly project.

Since 1980, the Quebec government has sanctioned the "fact" that 250,000-300,000 women over the age of 15 suffer IPV from their partners or husbands annually. Actually, about 14,000 Quebec women and 2,500 men annually report themselves victims of conjugal violence. Allegations deemed worthy of trial, however, are dramatically fewer in number.

Recently, the Quebec government abruptly withdrew its wildly conjectural 300,000 figure from Google-accessible circulation, after a pertinacious group of independent researchers demanded to know its source through the Access to Information Act. There was no source, of course. Yet financial allocations remain pegged to the mythical 300,000 and are exclusively awarded to women's projects.

This year, the Quebec Auditor-General's report focused an accusatory light on fiscal profligacy and lack of oversight in the women's abuse industry. Grants to abuse-related women's projects have soared from $30-million in 2002-2003 to $60-million in 2007-08. One six-bed shelter's grants in that period bounced from $58,832 to $406,817, even though the shelter only served nine women throughout 2006-07.

Almost half a million dollars to house nine women? Yet a bamboozled public believes thousands upon thousands of battered women are seeking refuge.

Reality just doesn't jibe with that picture. In 2004, the Yellow Brick House, an Aurora, Ont., shelter closed during a labour dispute. It emerged that of the eight women and three children residing there, only one woman was fleeing abuse. The others were homeless.

Exceptions, believers will say. Everyone "knows" violence against women is epidemic.

Really? Edmonton Police Service reports from 1999-2000 indicate the police responded to 3,000 domestic incidents. They referred exactly 24 women--less than 1% -- to shelters.

That 1% figure recurs again and again. The co-ordinator of Cornwall Commmunity Hospital's Assault and Sexual Abuse Program in Cornwall, Ont., claims that "17-30% of all women treated in hospital emergency departments are victims of domestic violence." Reality check: Her own hospital's screening for abuse of 157,000 in-patients turned up only 150 IPV-related injuries (both sexes).

I'll conclude with the words of a former batterer, Linda Kinsella. When her unprovoked anger turned to rage, Kinsella used to scapegoat her disabled husband by tipping over his wheelchair and otherwise abusing him. Adding to his nightmare, the police (typically, stupidly) arrested him when called to the scene.

Therapy for Linda saved their marriage. A repentant Kinsella asks: "If women are able to do all the good things that men can do in [the] professions ... then why [do] we, as a society, deny that women can do the bad too? It is my fondest hope that someday there will be true equality in our society and that domestic violence will be seen not as a gender issue but as a societal one that will end when we work together to stop it."

A few quick thoughts on the coup d’etat, in no particular order.

1. The math here is pretty simple: in a Parliament of 308 MPs, a Prime Minister needs 155 to govern with a majority. Stephen Harper came pretty close with 143, up 19 from the last election. The Liberals and NDP combined have just 114 MPs combined, down 18 from the last election. So it is mathematically impossible for the Liberals to be installed as the government without the Bloc Quebecois’ explicit help. Without formally including the Bloc in a coalition, Stephane Dion would be going to Governor-General Michaelle Jean with 114 MPs – a non-starter. With the Bloc, he’s got 163.

2. Without the Bloc, the Liberals and NDP have even less of a claim after the recent election than they did before. The Conservative vote, measured as a percentage, has grown five elections in a row. The Liberal vote, measured as a percentage, has declined four elections in a row. Trivia: in terms of absolute vote count, Stephen Harper received more votes in 2008 (5.21 million) than Paul Martin did in 2004 (4.98 million) or Jean Chretien received in his 1997 election (4.99 million) which earned him a majority. Harper’s 2008 count roughly tied Chretien’s 2000 majority result, too (5.25 million).

3. In other words, the Bloc’s formal, explicit participation is essential for the Liberal-NDP coalition to work. But, until now, the Liberals and NDP had been politically, if not morally, averse to coalescing with them. The reasons are obvious: they’re secessionists, who explicitly call for the disintegration of Canada. Pierre Trudeau and Jean Chretien both made opposing Quebec separatists one of their signature policies. (Chretien undid that legacy by participating in the negotiations this weekend; Justin Trudeau, now an MP himself, likewise departed from his father’s Quebec legacy by agreeing to the deal, too.) What changed? It’s obvious – Harper’s short-lived plan to remove the public subsidy from political parties, which would have put the opposition at a disadvantage. Opposition claims that it was a disagreement over economic substance are incredible. Not only has the opposition approved every Tory budget to date, but just a week ago they voted to accept the Throne Speech which was, at least in general terms, exactly what the Conservatives proposed in their fiscal update.

Sick Daze at CBC

According to government Access to Information documents obtained by Sunmedia, CBC spent $15 Million for employee sick days in 2006/07. A majority of those sick days went to the French CBC radio and TV staff in Quebec.
Canadians pay approximately $500 each per year for 'cultural concepts' like museums, libraries, etc. but around 80% of that money goes to the CBC, CRTC and Can. Television Fund.
Studies have shown that cultural spending is overwhelmingly consumed by the well-to-do and paid for by the masses of poorer people who don't even listen to or watch the wasteful public broadcaster.
Snubbing its’ nose at rural Canada, CBC is well known for promoting 'alternate' and radical feminist life choices in its’ broadcasts such as airing the first live homosexual 'wedding' on a cold Sabbath day in Feb/04 and avoiding equal time for differing opinions.
We're happy for the 6% of Canadian elites who actually view CBC but the majority of us are fed up with our public funds going to pay for utter stupidity, biased, agenda-driven reporting, huge salaries and in case I didn't mention it, biased, agenda-driven reporting. On top of all that we have Public Television with its’ own agendas.
CBC may have been relevant 50 years ago when there was a shortage of information networks but today, with a broad variety of providers, plus the internet, the CBC has become a Billion dollar a year, obsolete and unnecessary yoke on Canadian taxpayers who prefer to spend their money on their own choices, like any other charity.
Since when is it the publics responsibility to support a socialist enterprise that losses hundreds of millions of dollars every year? At a time when the real market industry is looking for financial support, it is irresponsible for our government to be pouring our money into frivolous enterprises like the arts and entertainment world.
CBC content is made in the big cities, for the big cities and, like all of the pollution they send us, is unneeded and unwanted by most rural citizens.
If our cultural elites want to listen to classical radio and watch 'Steve and Chris' every day, let them pay for it, sick days included.

The Women Who Have Abortions, and the Love They Need

The November/December issue of Envoy Magazine includes an article by Jane Brennan, entitled “How Could She Do That?”, about what motivates a woman to have an abortion. Jane herself had two abortions, worked with Planned Parenthood, and helped her sister get an abortion before she finally began to reevaluate everything she believed. Now she does pro-life counseling.

The article is not a statistical analysis; it is simply Jane’s own story. For Jane, feminist ideology, the lies of abortionists and their advertisements, limited understanding of the biological and metaphysical issues, widespread social acceptance, abusive relationships both as a child and as an adult, and a deep fear that each of her first two pregnancies would ruin her life all combined to drive her into the abortion culture. After her second abortion, Jane divorced an abusive husband. She later met and married a man who treated her well. Unfortunately, she needed counseling and chose to get it from a radical feminist counselor. The result was that she generally made her husband’s life a kind of hell. But when he moved out, she was shocked and upset enough to begin questioning everything the counselor had been telling her. Jane realized she had to change. Her husband moved back in. And Jane did change, ultimately finding relief and new life in a Catholic Church.

The point of Jane Brennan’s article is that pro-lifers need to try to understand the mindset of women who get abortions, as well as the problems they experience afterwards. She feels that many pro-lifers find the decision to abort incomprehensible, and that this limits their ability to reach these women. Brennan recommends that the pro-life movement make better use of women who have had abortions (such as those in the group Silent No More) to make presentations at parishes and elsewhere which will encourage other post-abortive women to begin to turn their lives around, and help pre-abortive women to do the same. As she says in her conclusion:

Then the grim reality of how abortion shatters lives would be heard, and soon it would not be thought of as a clinical procedure or a fundamental right but the tragedy it is. This might cause people to say, “I don’t want that to happen to my daughter, my sister, my girlfriend, or to me. In fact I don’t want abortion to happen at all.”
Brennan’s story is powerful and moving. While I think most people who work in pro-life counseling are far more sympathetic to the plight of women seeking abortions than Brennan tends to believe, there is no arguing with her recommendation that the pro-life movement should make greater use of personal testimony from those who have had abortions.

The pro-life movement also needs to make use of men who can get out the message of what it means to love. Brennan reveals this need in her own story when she notes that it was the departure of a man who actually treated her well that finally jolted her out of her self-centered, self-defeating philosophy of life. I have long argued that too many problems of contemporary women (especially the kind of problems that drive them to abortion) are caused by men who either do not know how to be men, or who refuse to be men—men who use women as toys, abandoning them when they no longer find them fun. Fathers who abuse and/or abandon their daughters; lovers and husbands who abuse and/or abandon their wives: These men are architects of insecurity and anger in women, both of which fuel feminism and a culture of death.

It is no coincidence that the wildly popular film Bella makes precisely this point; the film's hero ought to become a role model for males. My own prescription, therefore, is that in addition to inviting post-abortive women to become increasingly involved in pro-life work, we also need to recruit good men who can help spread the message of what it really means to love. Men must not only explain but demonstrate with their lives what it means to love a woman as Christ loves the Church. There will always be exceptions, and some good men have been devastated by a wife's decision to abort. Nonetheless, I think it is not too much to say that the single most important force in ending the epidemic of abortion is something men have the power to do: Love.

Our Kangaroo Courts in the Media

Is the media a credible source for information anymore?

Suppose, for a moment, that unborn babies started growing outside a woman’s womb instead of the inside. Connected by the umbilical cord until full maturity the mother could watch its progress. At any time she could cut the umbilical cord with a quick slash of a knife, killing the child. Only the mother would be personally responsible for the death.

I don’t think we would have many abortions. That difference of a few inches from the inside to the outside of the womb is literally a matter of life and death for a young child. God made the womb to be a place of holy protection for a child yet it has become a tomb for many.

Pro-abortion people have taken full advantage of the hidden child by calling it a piece of flesh but science has exposed this fraud with ultrasound pictures inside the womb. Women can now see the development of their child yet this is not enough for the pro-death media who still perpetuate the lies. If life, at any stage, has no meaning to these people, then neither does knowledge, truth and wisdom.

Is it time to give Quebec the freedom it wants?

Now that the dust has settled on our election and the numbers are in, we find that, without Quebec, we would have a majority conservative government. Take away the 50 seats the separatists won and Harper wins 143 of the 258 remaining ridings; a majority. Of course with a majority, Quebec wouldn't be able to play the 'poor us vs. them' game and get the special attention they exist upon.
Come to think of it, without Quebec we wouldn't have homosexual marriage, unfair distribution of federal transfer payments to prop up Quebec's socialist system, the lingering Kyoto agreement which would penalise the rest of Canada while Quebec's huge hydro dam makes a fortune, a second worthless language that only francophone use and a host of intrusive socialist policies that only suit a province that survives on federal monies.
If you think I'm biased toward Quebec, what about their fixation for electing a string of prime ministers that come from Quebec for 40 years and then reject Harper because he's not one of 'Da good old boys'.
Quebec has a whole different set of values which they have been forcing into our society for years and if that's what they want they should have them without Canada's support. After all, they voted for the separatist party.It's time we respected their choice to leave Canada so we can all get on with our lives.
Canada is never going to have conservative social and fiscal values as long as this yoke is on it's neck. It's time to cut our losses.

Eliminate the HRC's
Canada’s human rights commissions and tribunals are a system parallel to the court system. They are redundant and should be eliminated.

To the people who think that they are unique and provide a “service” different from court system, here is how they are they different:

· They are not bound by rules of evidence, precedent, or courtroom procedure.

· The state pays all the plaintiffs’ legal costs, but defendants must pay their own.

· “Feelings” are accepted as evidence.

· The “likelihood” of damages being incurred, at some indefinite time in the future, substitutes for real damages that can be shown to have been incurred.

· They have the power to “balance rights” and decide whose rights matter most in any given set of circumstances, thus citizens can never be sure, from day to day, what their rights are.

As a result, in Canada real justice is done only when HRC cases are appealed to the real courts.

Who wants to maintain the human rights commissions and tribunals? The people who want to use public money and resources to attack and smear their political opponents.

They have become an instrument for enforcing one’s own views using public money.

They are seeds of "cultural change" implanted into the bureaucracy by previous left-wing governments.

They have become a lobby group paid by the public purse.

They cannot be “reformed”, but need to be eliminated.

Prominent Psychiatrist: "No Particular Need for Sex-Education"

Commentary by Dr. Philip Ney

OTTAWA, September 4, 2008 (LifeSitenews.com) - I am a retired professor of psychiatry, having taught in 5 universities in different parts of Canada, Hong Kong and New Zealand. I have also run child and adolescent psychiatric units. I have been on school boards. It is from a review of the literature and from my experience that I write this brief opinion.

1) There is no particular need for "sex education." For many centuries there was no sex education, yet children were conceived and their parents enjoyed the process. Discovery of each other and what is pleasant in bed, on the wedding night and thereafter, is an important part of the exciting and unique pleasure that bonds the couple.

2) Sex education inhibits pair bonding. To educate young people about something that comes naturally robs them of the spontaneity and joy of sex that is vitally important for pair bonding and thus family stability.

3) The more sex education, the more sexual self-consciousness. There is substantial evidence that the more sex education, especially on technique, the more the couple is sexually inhibited. The greater the emphasis on sexual performance, the less communication and interpersonal intimacy there is.

4) The more sex education, the more sexual activity. It is quite conclusive now, that the more sex education, the more sexual activity and all the problems that go with that. The introduction of sex education is well correlated with the increase in abortion, STDs and boy-girl interpersonal problems. Good education gives people the desire to try it out or learn more experientially. Paradoxically, in that respect, current forms of sex education are good education but have the wrong results.

5) The earlier the sex education, the younger children explore sex and try various sexual techniques. Present evidence makes it possible to also conclude that the earlier the sex education, the earlier the sexual behavior. Thus sexual education is sexual titillation.

6) In preventing disease and pregnancy, sex education has been a failure. Sex education has had the opposite effect in preventing young people from engaging in "risky sexual behavior."

7) The idea of "safe sex" has failed. Frightening children with the dangers of "unprotected sex", drugs, fast driving, alcohol, etc. for many children has the paradoxical effect of increasing their interest in trying it.

8) The reliance on condoms has been dangerously misleading. There are sexually transmitted diseases (eg. Human Papilloma Virus) for which condoms offer no protection. The most effective use of the best condoms offers 87% protection from lethal HIV, transmitted by anal intercourse. Condom use has failed particularly in Africa. Condom use creates the false impression of safety, thus encouraging sex, when there is a 13% (at least) chance of dying as a result.

9) There is nothing in sex education that cannot be part of a more effective general health education. Everything of value in sex education can be integrated with the necessary knowledge of how the body and mind work. We found that by using the young person's curiosity and letting them discover how their heart, lungs etc. work, gives them a natural desire to protect something very precious - their body and mind.

10) The sex industry profits from sex education. There is an enormous sex industry that financially profits from natural biological drives and makes billions on fashions, condoms, contraceptives, etc. It is understandable they contribute to the sex problems.

11) Sex education creates mind absorbing conflicts and preoccupations. Exposing children to sexual titillation (sex education) creates conflicts and preoccupations that interfere with their mental health, education and personal development.

12) Sex education tends to result in mental images that interfere with the appreciation of nature and art.

13) No sex education teaches the beauty and hazards of pair bonding. To my knowledge there is no sex education program that informs kids about inadvertent pair bonding. Humans are made one flesh through sex. Thus many kinds of sexual behaviour create life long pair bonds. These interfere with the intimacy and durability of a later committed marriage. Statistics indicate that the more "premarital" sex the more extramarital sex.

14) Many kinds of sex education, including "chastity" education, leave a young person with the impression that any kind of sex except vaginal intercourse is okay when it is not.

Massive New Poll: 56% of Canadians Oppose Morgentaler Order of Canada

Poll called 157,115 Canadian households, yielding over 13,000 respondents - Results weighted in regional proportions

(LifeSiteNews.com) - A random telephone poll of Canadian households with 13,324 respondents conducted between July 17-21, 2008 has revealed that 55.8% of Canadians oppose the awarding of the Order of Canada to abortionist Henry Morgentaler.

The national poll commissioned by Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) and just completed, by KLRVU polling has a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 1.5%. The data is accurate 19 times out of 20. A breakdown of votes by province is provided.

Beginning with a wave on the east coasts of Newfoundland, ebbing slightly in Quebec and then continuing with a surge in Ontario right to the west coast-the tide of opinion against awarding abortionist Henry Morgentaler has risen, dramatically.

"Whatever side of the abortion debate you are on, many Canadians from all walks of life felt this appointment went way too far and offended too many," said Jim Hughes National President of CLC. "The mass media coverage of the Morgentaler award has given us the largest abortion debate this country has seen in twenty years, and Canadians when they are forced to think about abortion realize it is horrible."

In every region of the country opinion has soured considerably. Ontario is now 58 percent against honoring the infamous abortionist, with the prairies and the Atlantic provinces having two thirds of its citizens against. Even in Quebec support for Morgentaler has dropped to 53 percent.

"Clearly the waves of offended Canadians speaking out have had an impact," says Mary Ellen Douglas, National Organizer CLC. "When a former Lieutenant Governor speaks out and returns his 'Snowflake', disavowing himself from the Order, undoubtedly that is going to have an effect."

Opinion has become the most negative in the Atlantic with Nova Scotia leading the way at 68 percent against. The substantial size of the sample gives some unique insights into the regions. For instance over 400 people were surveyed in Newfoundland alone, even the territories were sampled. With over 13,000+ participants, this survey speaks definitively on the opinion within the country.

The Targeted Population was Canadian households, respondents were a result of a households that were selected at random, using a random algorithm provided by INFOLIST Canada, of Toronto, ON. Responses were weighted according to geographical area, so that the sample would reflect the actual demographic proportions in the population, using most recent Statistics Canada estimates.

How this poll was conducted: This KLRVU poll was conducted by touchtone technology which polls households across Canada. Using this technology with the voice of a professional announcer all respondents heard the questions asked identically. In theory, with the stated sample size, one can say with 95% certainty that the results would not vary by more than the stated margin of sampling error, in one direction or the other. There are other possible sources of error in all surveys that may be more serious than theoretical calculations of sampling error. These include refusals to be interviewed, question wording and question order, weighting by demographic control data and the manner in which respondents are filtered (such as, determining who is a likely participant). It is difficult to quantify the errors that may result from these factors.

Fieldwork for this survey was done by KlrVu Research of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Based in Winnipeg, KLRVU Research is a privately owned polling company working private firms since 2006 research services. Core services include research, data collection and macro polling services.

Your children are being warped into believing that same-sex families are acceptable; that men kissing men is appropriate.

Your teenagers are being instructed on how to perform so-called safe same gender oral and anal sex and at the same time being told that it is normal, natural and even productive. Will your child be the next victim that tests homosexuality positive?

Come on people, wake up! It's time to stand together and take whatever steps are necessary to reverse the wickedness that our lethargy has authorized to spawn. Where homosexuality flourishes, all manner of wickedness abounds.

Regardless of what you hear, the militant homosexual agenda isn't rooted in protecting homosexuals from "gay bashing." The agenda is clearly about homosexual activists that include, teachers, politicians, lawyers, Supreme Court judges, and God forbid, even so-called ministers, who are all determined to gain complete equality in our nation and even worse, our world.

Don't allow yourself to be deceived any longer. These activists are not morally upright citizens, concerned about the best interests of our society. They are perverse, self-centered and morally deprived individuals who are spreading their psychological disease into every area of our lives. Homosexual rights activists and those that defend them, are just as immoral as the pedophiles, drug dealers and pimps that plague our communities.

The homosexual agenda is not gaining ground because it is morally backed. It is gaining ground simply because you, Mr. and Mrs. Heterosexual, do nothing to stop it. It is only a matter of time before some of these morally bankrupt individuals such as those involved with NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Lovers Association, will achieve their goal to have sexual relations with children and assert that it is a matter of free choice and claim that we are intolerant bigots not to accept it.

If you are reading this and think that this is alarmist, then I simply ask you this: how bad do things have to become before you will get involved? It's time to start taking back what the enemy has taken from you. The safety and future of our children is at stake.

Maternal Deaths Down In Nicaragua Once Abortion Is Eliminated
Unsuspecting pro-life cultures are regularly assaulted by the "logic" of the international abortion promoters who push their anti-life agenda into every culture that will cave in to the pressure. Their main argument goes roughly like this: "When abortion is not legal, women have abortions anyway but in unsafe conditions and back-alley clinics with untrained people who injure and kill them. All this death and injury is totally unnecessary and we could just solve the problem overnight by legalizing abortion to make it safe and keep all these poor women from dying."

That's the main argument which, in one form or another, is repeated ad nauseam by the abortion lobby to sympathetic healthcare providers, social workers, government leaders and the media. It can be an effective argument for legalized abortion because people are generally more willing to sacrifice the rights of the unseen child for the immediate perceived needs of the suffering woman. However, that argument is a ruse. Abortion doesn't work the way they say it does. In reality, legalized abortion, besides killing babies, creates a climate of disrespect for women's health that leads to a greater number of maternal deaths. Let's take another look at the most fascinating and heroic case study in the abortion wars that our modern age has seen: Nicaragua.

That marvelous little pro-life country in Central America is a good example of what happens when a country chooses a culture of life. Remember that Nicaragua made abortion completely illegal in 2006 and then reaffirmed that prohibition in 2007. The overall positive results for Nicaraguan women have been just amazing. The abortion promoters screamed that making abortion illegal would cause women to die in droves because of more back-alley abortions, but that didn't happen. In fact, the opposite is true - fewer women are dying now! A recent publication by Nicaragua's Ministry of Health noted that the overall maternal mortality rate decreased by 58% in the year that abortion has been made totally illegal. There were 21 maternal deaths for 2007 compared to 50 maternal deaths the year before. This is a stunning reversal!

The lie that women will die from back-alley, "unsafe," abortions is nothing but a scare tactic to coerce pro-life cultures into compliance with abortion. The truth is that abortion-free cultures have a greater respect for women and babies and are not subject to that degrading pall of killing that lies over the medical profession. In the case of Nicaragua, their rejection of abortion in 2006/2007 coincided - not surprisingly - with a greater provision of basic pre-natal services for pregnant women and accompaniment in childbirth which is what led to the surprising turn-around in the maternal death rate. Even aside from legal protection of babies, pro-life cultures just protect women better, it's that simple.

We don't have to listen to the liars who tell us that legalized abortion is "safe." Women are much safer in countries where abortion is not legal. Abortion enthusiasts were never able to use the maternal death argument in abortion-free Ireland which has the lowest rate of maternal deaths in the world. They are also confounded by pro-life cultures like Poland that restricted abortion in 1993 and has seen a phenomenal increase in maternal wellbeing ever since.

The abortion promoters tell us that certain abortions are unsafe. They're half right. Actually, all abortions are unsafe. The numbers don't lie.

Staying at the Table

For 12 years now the Hamilton-Wentworth Family Action Council (HWFAC) has stayed at the public table in the Hamilton region and during this time have witnessed the demise of Planned Parenthood Hamilton, tremendous decrease in Hamilton’s teen pregnancy rates, the establishment of the Sexual Health Network which now puts their money into the annual ‘Worth
the Wait’ abstinence campaign, and public school sex-ed curriculum which now has a tremendous emphasis on students recognizing that abstinence is best and encourages them to speak with their parents and clergy on sexual matters.

For the past four years HWFAC has also been intensely involved in the public school’s efforts to include sexual orientation in their Equity Policy. We were blessed to be able to have 3 of our directors sit on the sexual orientation steering committee for its’ full 2 year tenure and witness that the goal of the majority of the committee was to have LGBT lifestyles woven into all subject areas beginning in kindergarten, reject medical evidence regarding the high-risk nature of LGBT conduct as bias, use the classroom to promote ‘queer heroes’ and label traditional family values as homophobic and hetersoexist. All in the name of equity.

HWFAC stuck with it regardless of the name calling and hostility we endured. We continued to put up evidence-based arguments against those who would go against the knowledge of God. Finally, despite our strong, yet respectful opposition, the Sexual Orientation Strand went to a public meeting where Trustees were to vote on its’ acceptance. We put approximately 30 hours into a 14 minute delegate presentation which took opportunity to support the school board’s equity vision of ‘A future in which all students can achieve their full potential’ and informed the board that HWFAC fully supports an anti-bullying / anti-harassment for any reason policy and their effort to create a safe environment for all students. We first sent commendations to the board in effort to keep their hearts open for our concerns that would follow.

Our concerns were with the Strand’s anti-homomphobic / anti-heterosexist foundation and its’ potential to label solid evidence-based medical information as homophobic and families who hold that marriage is the union of one man and woman to the exclusion of all others as heterosexist. We explained that as Christians, our families are required to ‘come out and be separate’ meaning to draw boundaries, set limits around our lives and touch no unclean thing including lust, fornication, adultery, homosexuality and bestiality. In our closing we noted that since the staff had stated that they did not know how the strand could be implemented while providing an environment which was safe for our children physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially and intellectually that the strand be set aside and an implementation plan be prepared and submitted to all faith communities for their approval. Trustees that evening did not pass the Sexual Orientation Strand, they voted 8 to 2 to refer it back to staff for a report due June 2. It is not over yet, however a miraculous evening and we pray a turning point.

Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family was once asked, “Why do Christians have such little influence on public policy?” Dr. Dobson replied, “Because Christians do not stay at the table, when things don’t go their way they pick up their marbles and go home.” Christians must return to the public table and occupy the seats. If we do not, others will.

Bill C-484, A government bill to protect babies in the womb.

Pro-choice activists are against this bill to protect women and their babies in what should be the their safest environment.
Suppose, for a moment, that a group of feminist activists decided to take a cross-country tour and decided along the way to abort as many children as they could. They decided that every time they saw a pregnant woman they would get friendly with them and when the opportunity arose, they would slip an abortion pill into the pregnant woman's drink and quietly walk away.
Eventually, after causing hundreds of abortions they are caught by police. All they could be charged with is a minor offense because there exists no law against killing the unborn.
You could write different variations of this but the same basic truth remains; A child that is wanted by the mother and father is open to any and all assaults without legal protection.

Dear Mr. O'Day,

Thank you for your email about the teaching of sexual diversity in schools.

Under the Ontario Human Rights Code, every person has a right to equal treatment with respect to

services, goods, and facilities, and without discrimination because of race, ancestry, place of

origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, family

status or handicap. Our government is strongly committed to upholding this code, and has ensured

these principles are affirmed in curriculum programs and policies for schools.

Publicly funded education strives to teach students to appreciate diversity and respect differences.

Our civil values include respect for sexual orientation. The curriculum is designed to reflect the

diversity of Canada, and teachers are expected to implement the curriculum in such a way that

students can see the variety of their own backgrounds, interests, and experiences reflected in it.

A curriculum review process initiated in February 2003 has been designed to build on the

strengths of the current curriculum and identify areas for improvement. This continuous cycle of

review is not a development of a completely new curriculum, but is intended to ensure it remains

current, relevant, and age-appropriate from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

The revised documents released as part of the curriculum review process now contain a section on

antidiscrimination education that stresses the need for students to respect the diversity of students'

various backgrounds, interests, and experiences. A number of courses in our curriculum policy

documents contain references to sexual orientation, homophobia, and gay rights. The review of the

Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Health and Physical Education curriculum policy

documents is now underway. There is an opportunity as part of these reviews to ensure that the

documents are more inclusive in nature and reflect the diversity of Ontario society.

Providing all students with an opportunity to learn and develop in a safe and respectful

environment is a responsibility in which school boards and schools play an important role. A

positive school climate exists when all members of the school community feel safe, comfortable,

and accepted. Should a component of any course conflict with a religious belief held by a parent or

a student aged eighteen or older, the right to withdraw from that component of the course shall be

granted on the written request of the parent or student.

The Provincial Code of Conduct states that all members of the school community must respect and

treat others fairly, regardless of factors such as race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

Further, the revised Code also states that members of the school community must not engage in

hate propaganda and other forms of behaviour motivated by hate or bias.

In conclusion, as a government we are committed to helping every student reach his or her full

potential in schools that are safe, caring, and inclusive.

Homosexual Indoctrination in our Schools
Over the years we have seen many different activists in our various governments bring their ideas to the people’s table, changing our way of life to suit their own personal agendas. We’ve seen feminist, environmental and homosexual members of parliament bring radically damaging changes to our freedom, our families and our sacred institutions.
They tell us it all leads to equality, justice and peace, yet all it has produced is unlimited abortions, disrespect for the dignity of marriage, more violent teenagers, a confused, muddled society with no direction or values and a host of other social problems asserting themselves each day.
In Ontario, we have a Health Minister and a Minister of Education who have a long record of homosexual activism. Right now Health Min. George Smitherman is upset because homosexuals are not allowed to donate organs, blood or semen because of the dangerous risks from their chosen lifestyles. He would rather put his personal agenda ahead of the health of us all.
Ontario’s first openly lesbian Min. of Education, Kathleen Wynne, helped found a community fundraising group that has donated over $50,000 to homosexual youth organizations. In 2001, she helped pass a measure encouraging public schools to purchase pro-homosexual teaching materials. At Goubourn Middle School in Stittsville, Ont., an Ottawa-based homosexual lobby organization,(see www.jersvision.org) has been invited to bring ‘diversity training’ to grade 7&8 youth this year.
Other ‘inclusive’ programs being introduced to our local schools are not well known. Many public and Catholic school boards refuse to answer any questions. On the surface it appears that our school boards are towing the line for the Min. of Education because that’s where a large part of the money trail begins. In business and government it’s called ‘scratching each other’s back’.
We do know that teacher’s unions, well financed special interest groups and agenda-driven politicians want to indoctrinate young minds with homosexual programs because they failed to convince the majority of rational adults that homosexuality is normal or healthy.
In California, recent laws ban any school texts, events or activities that are not homosexually inclusive in nature including the words ‘mom and dad.’ Laws being introduced in their schools will teach homosexuality as young as kindergarten. Other than the biological and physiological aspects of human sexuality our learning institutions have no right to feed sexual propaganda to our children. We pay our taxes so our children will receive the academic tools to survive in the world, not to support politician’s personal agendas.

Equality Is Still The Big Lie

Frequent writers to ‘Letters to the Editor’ encounter more things that others wouldn’t normally see. We understand our letters sometimes need to be edited for spelling and a host of mistakes we writers make and we are mostly grateful for the changes. What we don’t understand is when certain editors decide to become social engineers in linguistics.
There seems to be a concentrated effort in today’s media to neuter any reference to mankind unless it is to display a negative side to men. Words in the media have changed to a neutral, non-gender flavour as if sitting on the fence was a virtue. Even some of our churches have jumped on the feminist bandwagon quietly removing as many references to man or father as they can. I still haven’t figured out what the hell a ‘humankind’ is. Maybe it’s some kind of demonic human created by the liberals.
My library contains some of the finest writers of the past and present and along with 12 dictionaries none of them avoid the male gender as much as today’s media do.
In some of my letters I use the term ‘chairman’ in my signature, yet many of the editors remove the ‘man’ part and replace it with ‘person’ or simply make me a chair. I am neither. Neither am I a ‘spokesperson’. If I speak, I speak as a man. Surely you wouldn’t send a spoke or a chair to do a man’s job.
On the other hand, women continually use chairwoman or spokeswoman in the press. I have no problem with that but why aren’t men allowed the same right? This would be no surprise coming from a feminist editor but most editors are men. Even feminists don’t like traitors.
It may seem a minor matter but it seems to be a disturbing trend that we let get out of control, leaving us with a generation of boys with no male identity and men who question their definitive role in society at a time when we need more real men.
Linguistic castration is one way to feminize men but not nearly as effective as teaching our young boys in school that homosexuality is a normal alternative, as our education system is doing today.
Fortunately there’s still a fast buck to be made from Batman and Superman or they’d quickly replace them with She-man, hero of humankind.

The Crime of Innocence

According to the eye-witness,* ‘The babies little fingers were clasping and unclasping and his little feet were kicking until the murderer forced a scissors into the back of his head and then the baby’s arms jerked out in a deadly spasm.’ No police were called, no charges were made and the murderer continued on to her next victim.
While this may sound like a fictional murder story, it is, in fact, something that happens every day in North America. It’s called late-term abortion and they’re legal right up to the moment of birth in Canada, thanks mostly to feminist organizations that pressure our government for ‘choice’. Their ‘choice’ is the painful murdering of our most innocent.
Why women have chosen to be ruled by these radical feminists for the past 40 years is beyond understanding. Women wanted to think for themselves and hated the idea of anyone ‘controlling’ them, yet by the millions, they still march to the old feminist song and dance about choice, equality and freedom as if it was a product you buy instead of something you earn.
But let’s not lay all the blame on a few mean-spirited women. It took a lot of gutless government men, back in the day, to allow this to happen and it looks like nothing has changed in Ottawa and Toronto.
Most women are against war and killing, yet here we are in the 21st century, and women are killing their healthy babies with our governments blessing and voter’s support, the same voter who would be outraged if it were happening to a pet dog.
As it is now you can be charged, arrested and put in jail for simply threatening an animal but for the most violent crime to a human being, people are financially rewarded. Isn’t it a little odd that we have a higher standard and expectation for a beast than we have for an innocent child in it’s most vulnerable place?

A funny thing happened on the way to experimenting with citizen participation via the Internet…

The CBC recently set up a Facebook group called The Great Canadian Wish List. The idea was that you could create a wish (like “solve world hunger” etc.) or add your name to existing wishes. The top wishes would be broadcast on CBC on Canada Day.

It’s not that it’s not working, just that instead of generic feel-good wishes, the Facebook group’s top wishes are dominated by political causes usually associated with Christian conservative or right-wing groups.

Among the top wishes (as “voted” by people joining the groups) are:

Abolish abortion in Canada
For a spiritual revival in our nation
Restore the traditional definition of marriage
Clearly, some groups actively campaignied for votes, rather than letting the site grow organically. (I’m not saying this is bad, just interesting.) This page even walks people step-by-step through how to add themselves to the pro-life/anti-abortion (pick your wording) group. Some interesting comments at this blog.

CBC reporter Mike Wise was one of the architects of the Facebook idea. In an interview with InsideCBC.com, Wise said he thought the experiment was a success specifically because of the way people used the site. He said he plans to interview the people behind the top wishes, no matter what the topics end up being. “This was an experiment to see how social networks could work to bring out story ideas, and it’s done that.”

“Would people be saying there was a ‘takeover’ if David Suzuki had gone out and asked people to do this? We purposely set out to see what would happen with an unmoderated group,” he said. “Personally, I think this has been a huge success.”

In a related note, this blog’s Seven Wonders of the CBC contest appears to be the target of a takeover attempt as well by fans of CBC Radio 3.

With a slick marketing campaign, special interest groups, the media and our own provincial government have convinced many people that an all-inclusive sex education program will make our kids ‘street wise’ so they can avoid social problems and avoid unwanted pregnancies. They tell us that any sexual variation is OK as long as you use contraceptive chemicals or devices but the facts don’t back up their misinformation.
In 1976 the provincial government introduced a sex education program into our schools which encouraged students to refrain from sexual activity and to keep it within the bounds of marriage. Between 1976 and 1987 teen pregnancy fell significantly. Keep in mind this program was designed to discourage pre-marital sexual activity rather than equip adolescents for ‘safe-sex’.
In 1986 the province provided large funds to the Health Dept. to change the sex-ed. program to a condom/contraception- based program in our schools and for the next 20 years teen pregnancy, promiscuity and sexually-based diseases increased dramatically.
In 1997 the Hamilton-Wentworth Family Action Council, www.hamiltonfamilyaction took action and convinced their County government to stop financing the Health Dept.’s safe-sex program. Within 2 years teen pregnancy dropped over 22% and in-clinic visits declined 57%, proving that the less adolescents are exposed to condom-based/ value free sexual indoctrination from Public Health/Planned Parenthood Clinics, the lower the teen pregnancy rates. On top of that they saved their county hundreds of thousands of tax dollars. Even Public Health admits that the greater the availability of birth control, the greater the adolescent sexual activity.
Under much criticism, the Ugandan government chose to use abstinence-based sex ed. programs for their people and is the only part of Africa that has reduced incidence of AIDS.
The truth is, the less our youth are exposed to the Public Health ‘safe sex’ ideology, the safer they are and like it or not, the best method of birth control for adolescents, continues to be their parents.
Parents have a right and an obligation to teach their children, in their own way, in their own time, without being upstaged by domineering social engineers hiding under the guise of educational professionals.
Under our present political will, the only alternative parents have is to start home-schooling which has increased to 80,000 children in Canada and still growing.

Political science is bad for the environment.

When do we tell the government they can’t legislate fictional science to feed their need to regulate our lives while they profit from our private vices like smoking, drinking and gambling?
The Journal of the Cancer Inst. Reports that second hand smoke has a risk factor of only 1.2 and that anything below 2 is considered small, yet the risk factor for breast cancer after abortion is 1.5 and it gets no media attention and certainly no government intrusion.
And what about bicycle helmets? According to Western Standard researcher, John Luik, bike helmets may cause more injuries because users have a false sense of security and may take more risks. G.B. Rodgers looked at 8 million cases over 15 years and found “no evidence that hard shell helmets have reduced the head injury and fatality rates.” Indeed, “the bicycle-related fatality rate is positively and significantly correlated with increased helmet use.” Transport Canada statistics show the same amount of deaths before and after compulsory helmet laws. In New York state head injuries went up after increased helmet use.
The current left-wing lie is global warming. Government and media radicals are flying against real scientific facts to sell a gullible public their secular version of Armageddon. In spite of mountains of information to the contrary, green brains look forward to creating big, unionized government agencies to control our environment (people). Call me a nit-picker but paying other countries, who aren’t even on the green wagon, billions of our overtaxed dollars, is as close to insanity as you can get but then, this has never been about rational thinking.
This is about a liberal/NDP party that has gotten so shallow and morally bankrupt that they don’t have an issue that they can hang their collective hats on. The global warming lie is about all they could come up with to sell to people in polluted, voter rich cities, which doesn’t focus on their poor leadership, boondoggles and radical social agendas. God help us all in rural Canada if they get their way. The sad part is the national media is still helping them.

Are we civil yet?

Sometimes you wonder where the 'civil' went in our civil society. I was traveling through
the web recently and came across 'partial birth abortions'. These are abortions that are done in the late-term of pregnancy on mostly healthy mothers and babies.
The abortionist grabs the baby's legs with forceps and pulls the baby into the birth canal,
then using his hands, he delivers the body, leaving the head inside. He or she then forces
scissors into the base of the skull and opens the scissors to enlarge the hole. A suction
catheter is inserted into this hole and the baby's brains are sucked out. After immence, imminent pain,
the skull collapses, the baby dies and the parts are sometimes sold.
This is probably what M.P. Cheryl Gallant was talking about when she compared abortion
to the decapitation of U.S. soldiers in Iraq for which the media attacked her.
For some of the earlier stage abortions the abortionist cuts the baby into pieces, while in the
mother. The nurses then assemble the arms, legs and body parts in order, to make sure the entire baby has been removed.
We have no abortion laws in Canada, even up to the time of delivery. Even if you're a cold blooded atheist you must question why our tax dollars are used to pay for over 100,000 women and men's choice to have sex without responsibility. Less than 1% are because of rape and incest.
You have to wonder what kind of a 'civil' society we have that would allow human butchers
to torture and mutilate generation after generation of innocents without the media raising their
voice in protest.
They say we're only here on earth for a short 70 summers. Thank God.

The new challenge- Are my kids safer at home?

If nothing else, 2006 was the beginning of awareness, that parents, could no longer ‘sit on the fence’ with social issues in Ontario. As much as the provincial government and the media tried to make all social issues grey matter, the homosexual aggressiveness forced many parents to stand up and pay attention to issues like abortion, same sex marriage, secular evolution and their effect on our school children.
In Ontario we are especially burdened with a gay/abortion secular government and an ‘opposition’ PC party who shares the same platform. In addition we have a gay activist deputy premier who said he wants to remove any religion in schools, an openly lesbian education minister, a gay friendly attorney general and a teachers union using homosexuals to further their cause against organized religion in the school system. It should be noted that less than 1% of the 52,754 full-time and 16,137 part-time elementary teachers in the Ont. Teachers Federation reported having a disability, was gay or lesbian or Aboriginal. Where’s the voice from the other 99%?
In July/06, the BC Parents and Teachers for Life Assoc. asked 3 simple questions;

1. Is parental consent required, except in case of emergency, for health care for minors?
2. Specifically, are minors subjected to abortions without any requirement for parental consent?
3. To what extent are students subjected to pro-homosexuality propaganda in the schools, and if they are subjected to such propaganda, is this with the permission or connivance of the government?
In August/06 the Renfrew County Family Action Council sent the questions to the public school administration and subsequently to our local MPP. Neither has given a definitive answer but we can be damn sure they all know their salary and benefits to the penny.
We really don’t know the education system until we test it. We do know that these 3 matters leave our education system open to health risks, large litigation settlements and abuse by people who clearly have no mandate from the parents.
The Ontario public and separate school system is corrupt in structure where boards kow-tow to Toronto for funding, teachers bow to greedy unions and a handful of secular beaurocrats, with a personal agenda, know how to milk the whole system. As long as they could keep interest and information away from the public, they were safe. That time has passed. Parents must take back our education system.

Red and Blue Issue

Maybe what we need is a country that has two cards. Let's call them red and blue.

Red card supporters would believe in and pay for:
- Abortion
- Any marriage, incest, AIDS and bestiality.
- Their part of the country ruled by judges.
- No military.
- No religion except evolution.
- CBC & CRTC
- More taxes for more social programs.
- Social engineering in their schools.
- Bigger government.
- Bigger unions.
- Payoffs in government.
- Government sponsored daycare.
- Government supported prostitution, sex clubs and drug
distribution centres.
- Bilingualism
- No firearms except for government agencies.
- Government only health care.

Blue card supporters would believe in and pay for:
-The opposite of the above.

We would simply vote for the persons who believed and supported the red or blue and taxes would would be charged accordingly. Sure, there's lots of little details that could be critised but we could put an end to parties that sit on the fence and head in a positive growth direction.It would give the two culturals real freedom to choose the agenda they want to pay for. As it is now, we all pay for an agenda most people don't want or need.

Judy Rebick's decision to leave the Green Party because of fellow feminist, Elizabeth Mays comments about abortion shouldn't be misunderstood as a moral move. You have to have them to act on them.
To date, we haven't seen anything from Mzz. Rebick, Mzz. Green Party or Mzz. May that could be mistaken for any of the virtues except maybe for zeal. Mzz. Mays temporary reprieve for the unborn will be soon be withdrawn and the three stooges will be one big happy family again proving once again that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The Corporate Season

Somewhere between the angelic television commercials offering us the miraculous opportunity to purchase the Christmas Spirit, plus tax, the TV networks try to squeeze in the odd, semi-intelligent moment of programming. If anyone out there has ever found that moment, please, let us all know.
Maybe all the department stores send couriers up to Heaven each Christmas, via air miles, with a list of the people who spent the most money, hoping to secure themselves a piece of the rock just in case there’s any truth to this Jesus thing that keeps getting in their way to profit-nirvana. Don’t laugh; judging by the sales records and the empty parking lots at the churches, many people must believe it. Mind you, churches that have swallowed the fem/gay agenda are doing a pretty good job of driving out their faithful on their own.
The other slimy part of all this is that the big box stores and the TV networks want to exclude Christmas and make it ‘Holiday Season’ exclusively, but they also want us to keep the ‘feel-good’ feeling about Christmas so we’ll continue to spend with our emotions instead of our head. Of course it would help them immensely when they march into our provincial legislator’s office and demand to be open on Dec. 25th since ‘Holiday Season’ will not be a religious event anymore. Watch for it and don’t expect any help from our legislators. They sold their souls years ago.
Frankly, it wouldn’t make any difference to many people’s spending habits if they changed the name to ‘Save Days’ or ‘Pay Days’. Somewhere, some day in the future, some woman will scratch her beard while pondering the question, “Didn’t it have a different name before?” You go girl!
The good news is, as the Grinch found out, ‘They can take away the tinsel, the tassels, the trinkets and the toys’ but, for those who teach their children, they will never, ever, take away the Spirit who is with us every day, including Christmas.

Abort The Idea

We changed our name from Canadian Alliance to please the PC members.
We paid off the $5 million debt for the PC party before they went bankrupt.
We changed the democratic election process from the one person/ one vote system to please the PC members.
We dropped the whole question of abortion for the election.
Now the Conservative party wants to force candidates to not even answer questionnaires about abortion.
Since when does the minority speak for the majority of Conservatives? Isn't this more of a liberal/NDP idea?

The fem/gay way.
"Marriage has existed for the benefit of men. It is a legally sanctioned method of control over women. We must work to destroy it. The end of the institution of marriage is a necessary condition for the liberation of women. Therefore, it is important to encourage women to leave their husbands and not live individually with men. All history must be rewritten in terms of the oppression of women. We must go back to the ancient female religions like witchcraft."- The Declaration of Feminism ( Nov., 1971).
By 1975, feminist organizations in North America were frustrated with their slow progress, so they arranged a meeting with 5,000 lesbians and gays in the U.S. and came to an agreement. Lesbians and gays would use all their considerable resources to help the feminist cause and afterwards feminist organizations would help lesbians and gays to achieve their goals.
With the help of Hollywood, liberal media, sympathetic politicians and Pierre Trudeau's Bill of Rights the voice for feminist 'equality' spread quickly. By the 1990's the 'equality' of women's rights had been established. It was now the gay activists turn for emancipation.
Recycling the same mantra of the feminist cause, out of the closet gays and lesbians demanded tolerance, equality and human rights, with the Bill of Rights, feminist activists, Hollywood, most journalists, TV networks and a host of politicians to back them up.
Behind the scenes, corporations have been supporting both causes. Bell and it's networks support agencies that attack life and family issues. The Ford Motor Co. supports gay programs and an anti-Catholic organization. Proctor & Gamble backs a homosexual agenda and the list is endless. The more instability in society, the larger the profit. Stable, thinking, moral societies spend moderately and live modestly.
In spite of all the help, gay organizers still had to overcome society’s morality and religious institutions. The corporate media, using gay friendly programs, pornography and shows that stimulate stupidity are doing their greedy best to reduce people’s integrity to their lowest level. At the same time they attack religious institutions by relentlessly persuading the public, because of the infrequent priests and ministers who fell well short of their calling that all religious institutions are not to be trusted, ignoring the millions of faithful who gave to society all their lives, over hundreds of years.
Same- sex marriage isn't about 'equality' anymore than feminism was. It's about getting into our school system and changing the curriculum to suite their selfish agenda.
If nothing else, these handful of extreme activists have made Christians, Jews, Muslims, Islamic and religious institutions have a good hard look at what they really believe in and how far they will go to stand up for it. Some are already failing by their silence in the debate, thus abandoning their flock and leaving the decision up to a self-indulgent, immature government.
The question is, what are you doing about it?

Marriage

Marriage is an intimate personal union to which a man and woman consent, consummated and continually nourished by sexual intercourse, and perfected in a life-long partnership of mutual love and commitment. It is also a social institution regulated by the Word of God and by the laws and customs which a society develops to safeguard its own continuity and welfare. The Creator made man and woman, displaying His full image only as man and woman. Each is made for the other, their essential natures being complimentary and brought into oneness in marriage.
Husband and wife both share and perpetuate their happiness in having and rearing a family, thus marriage is more than an end in itself; it is the means to ends outside the married couple. Husband and wife become one in relation to the community, so that through marriage a new social unit emerges.
The exclusive sexual relation between husband and wife points to the exclusive commitment of total responsibility for each other. The sexual communion speaks of a pervading possessiveness, each partner offering a precious gift to the other which has been exclusively preserved for that one alone.
The total unity of man and woman in marriage, understood in the expression ‘one flesh’, demands monogamy along with male and female exclusiveness.
When it comes to moral or spiritual matters, the intellectual elites and the brain-dead share equal space in the parliamentary and media wards. It’s quite natural for them to change what they simply don’t understand. The weak fear what they don’t understand and what they can’t comprehend is the positive strengths like integrity, honour, faith and commitment which many marriages still cling to.
This coming fall, our federal government will once again bring the definition of marriage to the table for discussion and voting. The extreme activists and the national media will pour their biased views on to the public again so we can’t expect to have a fair or equal public hearing on the subject. The only effective tool we have is to reach the anti-marriage liberal/NDP MP’s across Canada, perhaps, through our friends and relatives.
